So I’m at the blood center donating platelets and am currently hooked up to a machine for the next 84 minutes.

They changed what they ask you when you check in. Now I have to state my gender.

I said “You’re kidding me?”  Phlebotomist says “Nope. Politics.”  I said “trumps science.”  She smiled. 

Smh.
