Thought I'd aggregate some stuff I've read today from my Google news feed.

Trump meets with NY Times after all (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/22/business/media/donald-trump-new-york-times.html)
Won't direct investigation against Clinton (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/22/us/politics/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-investigation.html)
Trump Foundation appears to have violated self-dealing regulations (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-foundation-apparently-admits-to-violating-ban-on-self-dealing-new-filing-to-irs-shows/2016/11/22/893f6508-b0a9-11e6-8616-52b15787add0_story.html)
Keeping an open mind about climate change accord (http://www.theverge.com/2016/11/22/13715236/donald-trump-climate-change-statement-ny-times-meeting)
On conflicts of interest (http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/11/22/503036990/on-conflict-of-interest-and-climate-change-what-trump-told-times-journalists)

Wouldn't put too much stock in those reports, after all the President-elect speaks figuratively, not literally.  Since he isn't yet President and hasn't really taken any action yet, things could change.

That's entirely true, but I believe you can put more stock in what President elect Trump says, than you could Candidate Trump.

I supported him over Hillary, and I still support him, but candidates say what they need to say to get elected.  I wouldn't call it lying, because it is usually in the right direction.  But once elected, what they say is pretty much what they intend.

But that is just my opinion.

With the Hillary thing, he doesn't get to say and it might be an interesting set up on his part.  Let's say Jan 22 comes and the new FBI director reopens the investigation and after some time says there is sufficient evidence to recommend charges so the new AG moves forward and gets an indictment.

Meantime the MSM goes nuts with "you told us you wouldn't pursue this" to which he replies, "it is not my decision and it would not be right for me to interfere because you guys would be all over me for telling the DOJ what to do and not do"

That's an interesting angle on it and may be correct.   But I think hammering on Hillary wouldn't be good for the country.  Taking out the foundation on the other hand would be a good thing IMHO.
