WTF? Making fun of women's looks now on twitter. It just doesn't get any less presidential than that. Jesus Christ, just grow up already.
-
Like clown posing with a hot blonde at a memorial for a dead civil rights leader?
-
Whenever I see a Gerhardt post now, this comes to mind:

And his dummy wife, who campaigned with him saying she wanted to put a stop to online bullying, especially bullying women on their appearance....now says he was justified because he was picked on and he's fighting back.

Now your just getting mean. "Dummy wife"? She's the first, first lady who has any class since Laura Bush. I agree Trump's choice of words could be better, but he's not bullying anyone, especially women.

It ok when you talk about a republican like that.
Bloody from a facelift? I haven't seen a rebuttal or a denial that was the case yet, so apparently it's true. I find it more interesting that Joe apparently dragged her on this trip so he could hang with Trump, what was he thinking?

Real classy.

I want to go on record saying - I am ok with that. ^^^
More than ok, I heartily approve.

I would rather have a former model whom appreciates America more than an America hater like Michelle, or a criminal like Hillary.

Damn she is hot, smart too.

There's a picture like that of me and I looked about as good as she does, of course that was 31 years ago. There's nothing unclassy at all about the picture per se. But I did not release mine for public consumption which I agree is somewhat less than completely classy. But so what? Are you really going to criticize her for that? As First Ladies go, I give the top prize for low class to Hillary for treating her secret service protectors like scum.

So many folks do not understand Trump and where he comes from. He plays to the middle class America, those are the folks that elected him and the folks that love whatever he does.
So Scarborough and his fiance Mika wanted to spend New Years Eve at Mira Lago with the Donald and he said, "no thanks" Now Scarborough and Mika are full time bashing Trump on their show. The Tweet is nothing compared to how they go after him on a daily basis on TV.

This, Trump told it like it is and it explains a lot about Scarborough and Mika. The faux outrage is a joke.

The left is driven by jealousy, hatred and insignificance.
They use the media and the courts to punish those who they feel slight them by succeeding, instead of being guess useless, triple zero IQ, faux academics blabbbering about make believe climate change and evil conservatives.
That mika and joe would act out so transparently is no surprise. It plays right into their class warfare, jealousy driven, selfish rage.

I think you're misstating this quite a bit. There might a few folks who would follow the president no matter what he does, they are a tiny minority, far less than you'd think. They are outweighed by those of us who cringe whenever he tweets again.
I think part of the naked truth here is that we really don't want to know all these deep inner thoughts of our presidents. We want them to stand and smile and wave and make us think they have everything under control and they never have conflict with anyone.

Fuck off you sexist pig.
Why are you so obsessed with Donald Trump's sex life?
Are you dealing with unrealized feelings about him?
By the way...
That photo is gorgeous. Steingar must be feeling both inadequate and jealous today.
-
Personally I'm more upset by his obsession with voter fraud and some of the other allegations of dubious veracity that he has made both before and since taking office. Sometimes our president seems to have only a tenuous grasp on reality, and that's a scary thought. But I agree with the OP that this latest tempest in a teapot is something of a national embarrassment. Seems several Republican senators agree that Trump needs to stay away from Twitter. He's not helping the country's image, nor his party, nor frankly himself.

Let's see some actual proof of that statement.

You must mean other than the sixty million Americans that support him and like seeing him call out the lying, shit-for-brains media for their lies, jingoistic fawning over anything that is bad for the country and the other outright communists in congress who despise freedom.

We lived through 8 years of a national embarrassment called Barack Obama. We watched him, a total amateur sit in the WH making law via executive action, ignoring laws and ramming the worse piece of legislation down our collective throats. We watched him let Americans die for political expediency, drone attack other Americans who were due process of law under the constitution, run guns to Mexico in order to promote gun control here, cut back room deals with the Iranians, cut another deal that funneled money to Castro's military, etc, etc, etc.
I'll take Trump over Obama every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Let the bed wetting crybaby liberals keep crying over his tweets.

It must be so hard for the left to deal with a Republican that doesn't take shit and actually fights back. Maybe the rest of these idiots could learn some lessons from him.

I suspect that a great percentage of people promoting opinions like gergardt and azure are TERRIFIED that conservatives are winning and that refusing to lie down and listen to their communist shit has become the new normal and that it means they will continue to lose ground quicker than they gained it thro9ugh their lies, never ending charges of racism, constant bullying and complete capitulation to the exact opposite of what is good for the country.
Without the conservatives sitting back and taking their shit, the left has nothing but a bunch of fucking idiot judges and politicians. They have no truth, no moral ground, no integrity and no backbone beyond politician correctness.

It is hard, you're right. It's hard to watch a grown adult fight like a 10 year old.

Mika and Joe are loving this, they think it is good for their career, any publicity is good publicity. But what it is actually doing is highlighting how shrill and unimportant their commentary actually is. I'm thinking they will fade away.

They'll fade away, but right now it's all about RATINGS.
-

I don't really like it either, but then again, I have no other ideas on how he could fight back against a conspiring press. His way has had some successes. Three CNN Fake News reporters got fired and their story was retracted. That doesn't happen often.

His methods are working very well, hence the progressives and MSM demanding he get off of social media.
-

Disagree. The media are loving his tweets and there are a lot of conservatives who think he should stop with the inane tweeting. That doesn't mean stop tweeting altogether, just stop with the inane tweets.
His tweeting is distracting from what his message should be. There are some good things getting done but instead of tweeting about that he's too busy tweeting about a reporter's facelift or of him body slamming CNN.
-

Under the bed wetting crybaby progressives and the MSM, Trump will never get his "message" out via the MSM. That's why they are attempting every means possible to shut him down.
As far as the establishment republicans disliking this, they are nothing more than the republican wing of the democrat party. And they seek the same goals as the progressives.
The fourth estate has long held the position they could abuse whoever is in office and suffer no recourse. Now we have the 5th estate (internet) which uncovers just how sleazy those in the MSM truly are and a President that will stand up to them.
The 4th estate is now insignificant and like their liberal progressive bed mates are being deminished.
-
Trump should be talking about what he's accomplished, and trying to accomplish in his Tweets. That's it.

I don't think it's adolescent or juvenile behavior at all. It's smacking bullies right square in the nose, pop. It's fighting fire with fire and actually Trump is being quite selective and restrained with whom he selects to smack. It is and has been quite effective because it knocks these moonbat broadcasters, who have written the rules on what is acceptable and not acceptable, rules (pc) that heavily favor them and disfavor republicans, it's effective because it knocks these broadcasters off kilter, this vitriol they use is all they have, when a republican smacks them back, as effectively as Trump has and does, they have no response. They have already lost in the arena of ideas, now they are losing the vitriol battle.
Those whining about it being adolescent or not nice are hypocrites because they accept similar or worse behavior in these broadcast personalities without a second thought.

Yes, and for one thing, the "rules" seem to be that what Trump did to Mika was SEXIST. Woah there wait a minute. How is commenting about her face lift sexist? What's gender got to do with it? How is saying she has a low IQ sexist? How is referring to her relationship with someone sexist?
Just like racism accusations these days, this is completely made up. It is broadening definitions until they lose all meaning. Trump is not failing to hire her because she is female. That would be sexism. Trump is commenting on personal aspects of her body and mind which have nothing to do with her gender. Men have facelifts too you know.
So half of all this is not Trump at all; it's what everyone is accusing Trump of.
So if we are calling personal body characteristics "sexist" what about her tweets about Trump's penis hand size? What about everyone's (including me) making fun of his hair? Are we being "sexist"? Anti-male?
-
The real truth here is that the far left, lunatic fringe, snowflake, America hating, horde of sleaze that is the lame stream are losing so badly that they are dealing that the gravy train might just hit the end of the line and they have no fall back position.
Liberals are bullies by nature and cowards by behavior. That's why they whine so consistently about anything and anyone that pushes back. It has all gone their way for so long they actually think they are ENTITLED to the positions of authority and respect they pretend to inhabit.
liberals are just another useless brand of fascist that seek to destroy America and Donald Trump refuses to let them use him to accomplish their goal. The rest is lies, innuendo, faux racist claims and utter stupidity.
-
You must mean other than the sixty million Americans that support him and like seeing him call out the lying, shit-for-brains media for their lies, jingoistic fawning over anything that is bad for the country and the other outright communists in congress who despise freedom.
Let's see, in a country of over 300 million people, 60 million is less than 20%. I'm pretty sure Trump's approval rating is still higher than that, though it wouldn't surprise me if it fell to that level by 2020. If you mean the percentage that support him AND his aggressive tweeting, your numbers sound about right. And IMO that's not a rating to brag about.
Also, at least the media is held accountable for lies. Reporters who publish stories containing blatant falsehoods are still disciplined if not fired if they're employed by major MSM outlets, as we saw recently at CNN. Trump is only accountable to the voters, 3.5 years from now, unless he does something impeachable, and he most likely hasn't and won't.
-
Let's see, in a country of over 300 million people, 60 million is less than 20%.
Are you really that dense? Or is this just another twist to try to make an inane point?

Inane rambling and twisting numbers in hope of an outcome.

Bullshit.
The liberal progressive MSM is rarely held accountable for their lies. Only when they are backed into a corner with no way out will they do anything.
If they were truly accountable as you allege, then the news rooms at ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, WashPo, and NYT would be almost empty today.
-
Also, at least the media is held accountable for lies.
HaHaHaHa,
That's the funniest thing have read in a long time. You can count on one hand, without using your thumb, the number of times a liberal reporter has been disciplined for outright lying.
-
The problem is they don't outright lie so much as twist and distort and present half truths out of context as well as completely omit relevant information such as how often firearms are used to stop crime. They also draw connections where none exist and use a truthful report as an excuse to mention something where no proven connection exists such as the snakebite global warming story. There are small seeds of truth in much of what in the end amounts to propaganda in the MSM today. I guess that qualifies as being enough to protect them from accountability.
-
Inane rambling and twisting numbers in hope of an outcome.
Calling something inane does not make it so. Or did you miss MY point? To spell it out: 60 million supporters in a country of 315 million total (or more germanely, 240 million adults) is not a following to brag about when you're the POTUS. Not sure why Number 7 even quoted that number, as even if it's true it is not very impressive.
If they were truly accountable as you allege, then the news rooms at ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, WashPo, and NYT would be almost empty today.
Okay I'll bite. List a few lies that have been published unchallenged in the MSM. If there are so many you should have no trouble doing that. Are you really talking about LIES, i.e. facts reported as facts that aren't true? I avoid the MSM (except for PBS, which has more straight news than most of them) because there is too much bias in the way the news is reported - but if they're fabricating news, then that's a scandal.

Do you subscribe to the theory of "lies by omission"?
http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/annabel-scott/wh-liberal-media-gave-1-minute-tax-reform-353-minutes-false-narrative
What does it accomplish when the press spends 353 minutes talking about Trump's tweets and ONE minute talking about his tax reform initiative?

A lie by omission would be not reporting something important at all. Devoting a tiny slice of time to serious news and the rest to the latest circus is one of the reasons I'm not crazy about the major commercial news networks, but I wouldn't call it lying. I'm not sure it even stems from bias, at least not political bias. More likely it's giving the viewers what draws them in, easy to digest stuff about the latest scandals in Washington.
-

Maybe a more germane number is the number of registered voters, and even more germane that that is the number of likely voters, of which I'm willing to bet those 60 million constitute a majority or at least close.
-
I see not only left wing BIAS by omission, but BIAS by reporting things as fact based on "UNAMED SOURCES". These are the stories they make up to fit a narrative, and advance their liberal/progressive agenda. I see examples in my local newspaper websites on a DAILY basis. Sometimes they are "staff writers", but also from AP, and other wire services. The headline, and kicker makes it seem like I is absolute, verified fact. When you read the article is ALL PURE SPECULATION. Just like Dan Rather's story on Bush's draft dodging or whatever hell that lie was.
-

I took Number 7's comments as a reference to the voters in the last presidential election. You're trying to twist it into a TOTAL of all supporters to of course make it look bad.
Let's look at it this way. Trump won 2,623 counties compared to Clinton's 489. Those are factual numbers. So we can assume by that that Trump was favored 5 to 1 in the last election.
Or look at electoral college numbers. Trump again won by 304 to Clinton's 227, which is considered a landslide (although liberal publications cannot accept this)
Or we can look at polling. Right now Trump averages in the mid 40's(if one removes the obvious slanted MSM outlets) BHO numbers averaged 47.9 (Gallup) for the term of his presidency. So actually Trump is in the same range as BHO.
Or we can do a vote total: Trump 62,984,825 (46.1%) to Clinton 65,853,516 (48.2%) So we could summarize of actual voters Trump has support of 46.1% of voters wh.o actually cast ballots in 2016
This really isn't that hard to comprehend.

I see the majority is catching up to the fact that Donald Trump tweets are very popular, appropriate for the TOXIC spew of snowflake, FAKE news networks and the support is rising.
http://truthfeed.com/new-poll-majority-of-trump-supporters-love-his-tweets/88280
NEW POLL : Majority of Trump Supporters Love His Tweets
Despite what the lying media says, the results are in, and people overwhelmingly LOVE President Trump’s tweets!
According to a new poll conducted by leading conservative site Drudge Report, 77% of their readers support the president’s tweets.
The snowflake progressives must feel so proud that fake news CNN CLAIMS that they managed to locate the kid who made the Trump clip that has their cowards all up in arms, and blackmailed him into silence.
No telling if the FAKE news network is actually telling the truth, but if they are, it is probably proof of a felony on their part.

Gee... wasn't it you pansy progressives claiming that THE SUPPORTERS of president Trump were turning away from him due to his overwhelming success on social media???
It must be hard to be a democrat and keep getting kicked in the dick by your own arrogance.
-
Gee... wasn't it you pansy progressives claiming that THE SUPPORTERS of president Trump were turning away from him due to his overwhelming success on social media???
Not that I've read. I've seen news stories with Republicans commenting that they don't like it, but I haven't read anything about supporters turning away from him.
-
That's the first I've seen saying people love the tweets, a point that I have not seen covered by the MSM at all.
-
To a progressive the world is never what it is but only what they want it to be.
Anything else is racism.
-
Trump should be talking about what he's accomplished, and trying to accomplish in his Tweets. That's it.
Totally agree. I'm irritated that some of his tweets put us conservatives on the defensive. There's no need for that. It's like the undisciplined football player who smacks a blocker who is getting the better of him right in front of the ref. No matter how irrelevant, it's going to get flagged.
He's got good policies and good plans - use the tools for that and leave the irrelevant peeons to their own irrelevancy.
-
Yes. I am reading that Italy and France are clamping down (finally) on incoming foreigners. Bill Gates is even saying it's time to stop the tide! With CNN and AP both caught out on their faux reporting and having to respond, and the travel ban being upheld ... yes, there is much Trump could tweet about quite safely and productively as the tide turns. He does tweet a lot about progress and accomplishment, but those tweets get ignored.
