Had no idea about her political leanings. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Tyler_Moore#Politics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Tyler_Moore#Politics) later in life she described herself as "libertarian centrist". I have no idea what she meant by that.

The title itself seems to say the writer describing her that way didn't either.
