Now now......we've already been told that the media is not actually lying about anything, which, when looking at the broader picture means those progressive's in Hollyweird aren't really targeting conservatives.

My wife heard Nick Searsy (great conservative actor - anyone see Justified?) on Rush yesterday and he questioned in the movie how (a) the conservatives no longer had guns, and (b) the liberal hunters DID have guns.

Liberal/Progressives think anything more than one, or two guns and fifty rounds of ammo is an "ARSENAL".

Just imagine if an independent producer and studio had produced a film called "The Hunt", and it was about conservatives hunting down and shooting progressives.
The MSM would be in an all out outrage, and it would be 24/7 coverage. And it would, of course, be tied to Trump.
And yet we are suppose to believe there's nothing nefarious going on, well, because, their (progressive) ideology makes them believe that what they are doing is righteous.

Them Liberal Progressives sure like making money from Hollyweird using guns and ammos in their movies. Oh, and those same liberal progressive Hollyweird types like surrounding themselves with protection, and that protection is armed.

One of the largest problems we face is the huge Double Standard, and Hypocrisy of the MEDIA, Social Media, and Entertainment Industry. Unfortunately a large amount of the public either believes them, or does not acknowledge this obvious double standard.

Just remember, this isn't really a bad thing. It's not like they know they are fucked up. They really believe that conservatives are animals and deserve to be hunted down. It's sort of like those pest control commercials. Nobody gets worked up about those; do they? They really think they are good people and that they are justified in this. How can you blame them for that?

I guess when Mao murdered millions, he was just doing what he felt was right, and we have no right to say what he was doing was wrong. Same for Stalin, the Kmer Rouge, etc.
Just because we believe what they were doing is wrong, we should try to understand that they thought their actions were justified.

According to the plot synopsis the hunters become the hunted. If one of the “deplorables” kicks ass, which side does the movie want us to root for? Also, the preview shows the hunters in what appear to be business dress in a conference room - suggesting they are monied and possibly business types. They could be successful liberal or conservative types - in either case the movie depicts them as being the truly deplorable ones. Thus associating business success with debased morals.
I don’t watch avenge/revenge movies anymore. The handful I watched years ago just never appealed and the gore just got worse.

Ridiculous idea for a movie. Everyone knows the leftists would be peeing their pants if they were in the same room as a gun. There's no way they would ever actually use them.
I say they should release it. Maybe it was made for the shock value to remind people that both sides are still humans? I doubt it, but I'm trying to be open minded about their motives.

I usually find myself agreeing with Greg Gutfeld's perspective.
Co-host of "The Five" Greg Gutfeld, claimed backlash surrounding the Universal Studios film "The Hunt" has been overblown and said the idea of hunting down humans has been a recurring theme for decades.
"Can I defend this?" Gutfeld asked on "The Five" Thursday. "This is an old idea, the most dangerous game. There's a lot of movies about hunting humans and we have no idea who becomes victorious in this. This is a satire."
He also said there will likely be a twist in the movie showing the "deplorables" winning the fight and claimed there wasn't any merit to the outrage emanating from the film's detractors.
