Spot on.  I think it what they did was distasteful, but because of our current cultural bias, they got away with it.  Your sons will be their underlings in the military as they will receive promotion after promotion while others don't.   

Not really.  If they had convinced me of that, then I probably would be a liberal because I still think those things can be had, as long as we have an economy that is robust enough to pay for it. (And that doesn't mean that the government has to pay for it).  In a healthy economy, the majority of people can afford to pay their own way.

It seemed that you were saying only Liberals were for the list of items you presented.  In my experience, that is not true.  The liberal mantra is that Republicans and conservatives want dirty air, and dirty water, and hate the poor, hate gays, etc.  Not true at all.

There will be other candidates.  And in an election year where every rule of political calculus has been violated, and you have two candidates with higher negatives than Ebola, one of those other choices is the way to go.

No, it is not Jeff.  Nice try at evading the question.  A vote for a third party is a throw away vote.  It is between Trump, who is questionable in some of his policy views, and two avowed far left, radical Communists.  One admits it, the other does not but says things like she is going to fully destroy the coal industry, and their jobs. 

So which is it?  Or are you going to chicken out again?

I have said before that I could be a liberal.  I believe in clean air, higher wages, better education, social safety nets etc...

I and most other conservatives believe in all those things.  The media, and our ultra progressive education system has just convinced you otherwise. 

The reason I don't "self-identify" as a liberal is because I have never seen a liberal that has any concept of how the market  or the economy works.  Their sole plan to pay for all of this is to "tax the rich".  It would be redundant and preaching to the choir to explain why that won't work.

Then Senator Obama also made a comment about electricity prices "necessarily" skyrocketing. Yet people in these states still vote for the Democrats.

When gasoline prices spiked Hillary was pushing for a "windfall profits tax" on oil companies, and OBAMA was saying he was fine with high gasoline prices, but maybe they shouldn't have gone up so fast.  Wow, the price of energy affects low and middle income people the most.  Make electricity and gasoline costs go up, and it really hits them hard.
