The hypocrisy from Obama is stunning, even by his standards, and you don't need to go back to 2008 to see his implicit endorsement of the racist movement that gave rise to this social violence.

well, his words are a start in the right direction, aren't they?
let's get beyond obama's past words and actions that fueled today's problems?
Isn't it more important that we work toward solutions.
(note, given obama's history, we can certainly have our doubts and are justified in being cautious)

Other than this hysterically eye-rolling moment, his speech yesterday was surprisingly short and nearly bereft of references to his Royal self or new calls for gun control.
I am sure they'll correct those oversights with an Executive Order and new press release but it was actually one of his better speeches.
The reason it is so hypocritical is that he has been among the chief offenders with respect to divisive rhetoric on this topic in particular and race relations in general along with Moochelle.

If he was serious about helping to solve the issues he would stop immediately siding against the cops in every situation. This all started with the "beer summit" following that Massachusetts police officer who detained a professor who appeared to be breaking into a house (it later turned out it was his house, but you had no way of knowing that when the cops pulled up).
Instead, you have the President using his gigantic pulpit to tell police officers to admit they have a problem, Al Sharpton siding with Black Lives Matter and all sorts of other radical hate groups that haven't bothered trying to calm the situation down.

IF ONLY the community organizer in chief would treat law abiding, hard working Americans with the same restraint he reserves for law breakers, terrorists and American's enemies.

My liberal friend watched a Steven Colbert show where he talked with Bill O'Reilly. She said she agreed with everything O'Reilly said! This just goes to show that when placed side by side in an actual discussion (which rarely happens) it is possible for a liberal and a conservative to agree on that elusive third thing, The Actual Problem We are Trying to Solve.
Sheesh. We used to do this all the time, without even thinking about it. Somehow, we realized that the two approaches (liberal and conservative) actually balanced each other, rather than paralyzing everything.

That may have been true for your friend, but I guarantee you that there where at least 100 people in the audience and countless more at home that that nodded along with Colbert's mocking of O'Reilly.

O'Reilly is liberal/progressive on many issues including gun control.
