Fox News’s Tucker Carlson said Monday that he received a cease and desist letter from Tony Podesta’s lawyer over his reporting on the Podesta Group.
Not only does the threatening letter demand Carlson stop discussing reports about the group but that they also retract and delete all previous reporting as well. This, Carlson said, was an effort to “use fear to control press coverage.”
“Podesta isn’t just complaining about us, he’s threatening us,” Carlson said on his show Monday.

The lawyer also said Carlson could not quote from the letter publicly, citing the copyright act, which Carlson clearly did not listen to.

This is going to blow up in the Dems faces. They are getting desperate.

Funny thing this weekend I was reading some far left social media post on the sealed indictments. They were giddy as kids on Christmas morning and predicting Monday that Trump would be perp walked out of the WH in cuffs. Prediction after prediction of the Trump WH coming down and the dems being put back in charge.
Guess Monday morning was like finding a lump of coal in their stockings.............

Podesta's lawyer must be cowering in shame somewhere.
Podesta to lawyer: "Counselor, I want a strongly worded letter sent out right now! They are to cease and desist from gathering and reporting news about my ex-business."
Lawyer to Podesta: "Ah, Tony - you want me to send a news organization to stop doing news about a firm you no longer own or control?"
Podesta: "That's right, and I want it sent today!"
Lawyer: "Let me get back to you on that, and see if we can meet with them or something."
Podesta: "No, I don't want to meet or give any interviews, I don't want to talk about this, I want a cease and desist letter sent right now."
Lawyer: "OK, you're the client, I'm just the advisor, and advising you that this will be a bad idea, and will be ignored. It might even come back at you and make you look less than professional."
Podesta: "I don't care, just write it up and send it."
Lawyer: "Yes sir."

Just another example of how the progressives want a "flexible" constitution.
If the news story was something bad about a conservative, the progressives cry "Freedom of the Press!!", but in this instance it puts one of their own beloved in a bad light, then it's "Cease and Desist!!"

I don't think Tucker gets shaken very easily.
