Pancreatic cancer is tough.  It's usually symptomatic until start metastasizing, and then its far too late.

A-symptomatic

My younger brother had various symptoms before they discovered it.  Some were generic, like nausea, headaches and back pain but the doc's even missed Jaundice as a symptom until it was WAY too late.  He died a few months after diagnosis but in the meantime he suffered through tons of chemo and radiation.

The CEO of the company I work with had it. Symptoms were “indigestion” which was treated the standard way for a while. When they finally diagnosed PC it was two late. He did chemo but died less than a year from diagnosis.

It is a very bad one to get.

My mother in law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at 49, and she died nine mo the later at 50.  After her surgery the docs told the family she probably had it in her mid to late 30’s. No need for chemo as she was terminal. She died a skeleton.
