From my observation, it appears there have been an awful lot of breakthru cases.
My theory is that the shots are modestly effective, but people have been led to believe that they are nearly foolproof. Then after they get the shot they resume risky behavior like shaking hands with strangers and having ... never mind. Just assume I meant loose behavior.
But even with the risky behavior, breakthru cases are still fewer than cases of the un-vaxed.

I'm reminded again of our personal physician who gave his 83 year old mother the shot and booster, tested her two weeks later and she had zero antibodies.
His explanation was that he felt the testing phase was poorly done, if actually done at all, and the result is a useless, politically manipulated waste of time. He doesn't report anything resembling what the useless corrupt fauci, or his worshippers claim as far as breakthroughs cases, opposed to unvaccinated cases, and says that he doubts there is very little, if any truth to the claims by the government.
