Does this mean you want authorities to take legal action or use force against people shouting "Death to America"?

I heard a liberal commentator make that same assertion yesterday.  Convenient how that works huh?

This is what is really bothering me about all the FISA bruhaha.  The Dems and establishment GOP want to extend FISA and the MAGA Republicans and I guess libertarian types don't; Styx himself has said, "abolish FISA".  They (the latter) says either abolish it or put warrant requirements on it.

The specifics of the extensions are they want to enable warrantless spying through third parties, ie: forcing third parties to collect data on their behalf.  Example, the hotel that provides you WiFi or the internet cafe, or your employer, certainly your ISP, basically anyone that has access to any server, modem, or tech equipment that is involved in your internet/cell phone activities.  And they'd force these third parties to do it without notifying you they're doing so.

And they are allowing this on suspicion of an American citizen communicating with any "foreign threat" and without a warrant means without actual evidence.  The foreign threat is how it's being sold, but "domestic threat" will no doubt be included under the umbrella.

So naturally we DON'T want them doing this.  But here's the big problem: The wide open borders are letting in all kinds of terrorists (anyone denying this is delusional) and to the extent the IC actually wants to prevent terror attacks, now they do need the data from the communications these people are having within our borders.

Because of the mass invasion of illegals, we can't protect ourselves without being able to spy on them, but in the mix this enables the IC to spy on ALL of us and specifically because they're partisan, to include "domestic terrorists" (ie MAGA supporters or parents at school board meetings, Catholics going to church, and anyone who even thought of going to DC on Jan. 6).

This will be abused.  But it's being sold to us by fear mongering about foreign enemies, but without saying the obvious part out loud "Tee hee, we are inviting those enemies in with open arms."

The UniParty wants FISA since it's become a valuable tool for them, and it circumvents the constitution.

The UniParty is dismantling the constitution right in front of us while telling how this is for our own good.  The regime openly defies the constitution.   And congress is all to happy to sit back and watch.

The storm is on the horizon.  I hope everyone is preparing for what is coming.

Small numbers?  I wonder.  How does the number of number of contract players like Blackwater compare to the number of regular troops in Iraq / Afghanistan / etc?  The MIC would love to just use mercenaries.  No profit in using regular troops.

The real money is made in support roles.   Food services, cafeterias, warehouses, motor pool, fuel storage and delivery, lodging, logistics and transportation.  Also construction services and facility maintenance services.

These support roles outnumber troops, are high paying (usually no compete contracts).  Iraq and Afghanistan were a huge financial windfall for the MIC.

Mercenaries? The Russians use them.

Of course.  But in small numbers.

Ukraine needs thousands upon thousands.  Who pays for them?

The democrat communist aren't worried, as they control the ballots.

As long as we have ballots that don't require signature verification and ballots with no deadlines, the communist control the process, and win.

If this country truly wants a fair election, we need an election day, with paper ballots and voter ID's.

What about mail in voting?   What about mass ballot mailing to outdated voter registrations?

In 2020 Georgia had massive problems with ballots going out to dead people, outdated registrations, and multiple ballots to the same addresses.

The only citizens can vote doesn't fix any of that.  It's nothing more than a "see, we are fixing our elections".

It's not about votes.  It's all about ballots.

Obviously.  I agree that if Ukraine gets no more aid, they can't win the war.

And how is pouring more money into them going to help them "win"?   Where will they get the troops?   Will the money buy those?

Politicians, especially the career type politicians depend upon the low information voter types to keep them in office.  These people vote almost on name recognition alone, and have no interest in government or politics.  They are easily influenced by the propaganda news outlets.

Congress has done more damage to our country than any other branch of government, hands down.

Six-Month Federal Budget Deficit: $1.1 Trillion
Not only that but "The six-month interest payments of $440 billion exceeded the $412 billion in outlays for defense."

Yep.  Doesn't help when our government gives away billions in "foreign aid" that they borrow, and we get the bill to pay back with interest.

Not to mention the bloated CR's that are 2000 pages long filled with pork and voted on without reading.

Our country doesn't have a revenue problem, we have an out of control spending problem that no one seems to want to fix.  It's unsustainable and the forthcoming crash is going to wipe out many peoples savings and retirements.

As I understand it, a nation at war cannot join NATO.  Ukraine can join once peace breaks out.

  We would hope.

But there is no purpose to bring Ukraine into NATO other than to antagonize Russia.   Besides, the US is having to support Ukraine financially, which means even if Ukraine was admitted, it would fall upon the US to borrow even more money to give to Ukraine for their membership.   And given the fact that several NATO countries don't even pay their fair share as it is, just more opportunities for Zelenskyy and company to skim that money.

Clusterfuck only begins to describe the situation we should have never involved ourselves in.

The major problem is the communist behind the FJB regime have no sense of reality and are all out to retain power.   If they need to start a world war to do it, so be it.

This same regime has depleted our strategic oil reserve, been steadily depleting our ammunition reserves, has crippled our military with DEI initiatives as well as bringing the military readiness to extreme low levels.  Even critical parts for our military hardware are made in other countries.

Add in the thousands upon thousands of military age men admitted across our borders, who we know nothing about, coupled with the billions of dollars in weapons the regime has abandoned overseas, and yes, we have a major problem brewing.

Remember, the dictator in Ukraine suspended elections due to "the war" and the regime here saw that as brilliant.
