Do they want a do-over under different rules? Sounds like it.
Keep at it till they get the results they expected?
If they weren't going to accept the results, why did we bother with an election and not go straight to a coronation of the queen?

Remember when thousands of conservatives were on the street protesting the day after the election of Clinton and later that of Obama?

Liberal/Progressives are like spoiled children.  If they don't get their way, they have a hissy fit.  A lot of it was just an excuse to smoke dope, drink, and go create mayhem en masse.

The saddest thing about the cupcake/snowflake generation is that they believe democracy means they get to have their voice heard and nobody else gets to have their voice heard unless it agrees with them.

I thought the system was rigged.  Shouldn't people protest a rigged system?  Are you saying the system isn't rigged?  What about the rampant voter fraud--thousands of illegals voting illegally.  Shouldn't there be protests? People are saying some voting machines recorded votes for someone other than the candidate checked--obviously a conspiracy to rig the election--we should all be protesting just like Trump said we should.  Oh, wait, Trump won--nevermind.

^^^^This.  In my area, there was a lot of incidents of the voting machines making mistakes because, "they weren't calculated properly".  Well, WTF?  You knew the election was coming for years, yet the machines weren't calibrated?  Oh, they were calibrated all right, but to do what their calibrators wanted.  Change R votes to D.

Won in spite of the system being rigged??  Maybe it is a matter of definition.  Rigging an election is the coordinated, organized effort by a group to influence an election contrary to the results of the voters.

I'd be happy to agree that the election was rigged, just need some evidence.  Rigging is not isolated events of voter error, bad voter roles, or machine errors.

As far as the protestors, kinda pointless on their part, but what the heck, if it makes them feel better, have at it.  Not going to change a thing.

ok, I"m willing to substitute some word for "rigged".  Perhaps "stacked" would be better.  Or unbalanced, or some other  descriptive term to describe a system that attempts to predetermine the outcome.

The first and most obvious is the unbalanced media sway.  You have FOX and maybe the Wall Street Journal on one side, and practically every other major outlet on the other.

Then there are the imbalances within the incumbent political structure, including the un-elected bureaucracy.  It makes it very difficult for a newcomer to run against an incumbent.

And there is the fact that human nature makes it much easier for the left to buy votes by promising to redistribute wealth from the few to the many than it does for the right telling people they need to be responsible for their own success or failure.

But you are right; rigged isn't the right word.

As far as the protestors, kinda pointless on their part, but what the heck, if it makes them feel better, have at it.  Not going to change a thing.
Agreed.  But they shouldn't be excused from school to protest.  If a business chooses to excuse them and pay them while they protest, that is the business's right.

The right has been describing the system as rigged against them throughout the election. They regularly complained that leagues of fraudulent voters would nearly guarantee a Democrat victory. And yet we just had the most disliked candidate in modern history become a Republican president.

The system isn't rigged against the GOP. Trump is living proof. But there are many non-partisan problems with the system that I'd love to see fixed.

Just because Trump won doesn't mean the system isn't slanted towards the Democrats.  He just had enough votes to overcome the slant.  This is a landmark election.

When making a claim it helps to produce supporting evidence for the claim to be considered credible. That is my modest standard, anyway. Expression of paranoia or an appeal only to plausibility just doesn't suffice. At least not when the claim is for fraud that didn't happen on large enough scale to be noticed.

Why do you think Clinton folded that night? If they all "went home" and suddenly she won some of the key states where it was obvious she was behind Trump, fraud would be called by the Trump camp and they'd actually have to count and verify each vote, which amazingly would find thousands of dead Democrats and people with "no known address."

Trump denounced the rioting tonight on 60 Minutes. Looked straight into the camera and said "Stop it."

Can anyone point to any action sitting president O or HRC have take to denounce the riots or address the irrational and inaccurate spewings of these thugs?

"Rape Melania" sign at Trump Tower, and #RapeMelania hashtag on Twitter. Way to respect women!

Update. I see that O had to play five hours of golf today. Then he's headed out to Greece and other locales. So, no martial law, no comment, no time, too busy? Slacker in Chief.

I guess I'll have to go back and watch it again.  I thought that when he looked at the camera and said "stop it" he was talking to his supporters that were doing and saying mean, racist things about certain minorities.  He was condemning his supporters for acting badly, just as liberal leaders should be condemning the protesters.  I'll watch it again later.

In either case (President-Elect Trump telling his supporters to stop it or telling the violent protesters to stop it), it is appropriate for him to tell them to stop it.

Has anyone seen the liberal "leadership" tell the violent protesters to stop it?

He was asked what he though about reports that some of his supporters are committing acts of violence and using racial slurs.  He was told that some of them are threatening African Americans, Latinos and gays.

Trump said he hadn't heard that before, (except a very few instances), but he hates to hear it.  And he condemns it.  He said if it is happening it needs to stop.  When Leslie Stahl pushed, he said look, I am going to look straight into the camera and say "stop it".

This isn't happening. Yet Stahl wants Trump to buy into HER narrative, and respond to it.

Donna emerges from a door behind C.J., and they exchange a look.

JOSH
I was communicating with the people.

C.J.
Really?

Josh is momentarily distracted watching Donna walk past him into his
office. Then he
steps closer to C.J. and speaks in a hushed voice.

JOSH
C.J., it's a... crazy place. It's got this dictatorial leader, who I'm sure
wears a muumuu
and chain smokes Parliaments. [makes a smoking gesture with his fingers]

C.J.
What did you go there for in the first place?

JOSH
It's called LemonLyman.com.

C.J. gives him a pointed shove in the direction of his office. They walk a
few paces and
stop outside the doorway.

C.J.
Let me explain something to you, this is sort of my field. The people on
these sites?
They're the cast of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

Donna picks up her jacket inside the office and walks out between the two
of them.

C.J. [cont]
The muumuu wearing Parliament smoker? That's Nurse Ratched. When Nurse
Ratched is unhappy,
the patients are unhappy. You? You're McMurphy. You swoop in there with your
card games
and your fishing trips...

JOSH
[shrugging defensively] I didn't swoop in, I came in exactly the same way
everybody else did.

C.J.
Well, now I'm telling you to open the ward room window and climb on out
before they give you
a pre-frontal lobotomy, and I have to smother you with a pillow.

Josh regards her in silence for a moment.

JOSH
You're Chief Brom-

C.J.
I'm Chief Bromden, yes, at this particular moment. I'm assigning an intern
from the press
office to that web site. They're going to check it every night before they
go home. If they
discover you've been there, I'm going to shove a motherboard so far up your
ass...

Josh looks down at the floor.

C.J.
What?

JOSH
[with a slight shrug] Well... technically, I outrank you.

C.J.
[shouting] So far up your ass!

JOSH
[quickly] Okay.

In typical progressive fashion, over half of all 'protesters' arrested are not registered to vote and did not vote last week.

Portland, Ore.—More than half of the anti-Trump protesters arrested in Portland didn’t vote in Oregon, according to state election records.

At least sixty-nine demonstrators either didn’t turn in a ballot or weren’t registered to vote in the state.

KGW compiled a list of the 112 people arrested by the Portland Police Bureau during recent protests. Those names and ages, provided by police, were then compared to state voter logs by Multnomah County Elections officials.

Records show 34 of the protesters arrested didn’t return a ballot for the November 8 election. Thirty-five of the demonstrators taken into custody weren’t registered to vote in Oregon.

But she was supposed to win!  She deserved to be first women president

Maybe the protesters should complain about the ability of CNN et al to influence predict the election results.

Rush predicted that the majority of the 'protesters' would turn out to be paid, not have voted, and too lazy to register.
It looks like he will have been right about all three.
As I said in another thread, if CIA, FBI, DHS, or some other investigative branch of the US Government can prove that Soros is hiring people to attack American citizens, then he should be treated every other terrorist and shot on sight.

I wish someone would take away President-elect Trump's twitter account.

I keep thinking about the West Wing episode, "The U.S. Poet Laureate" where the Josh Lyman character discovers the internet

I remember that episode, it was funny. Josh's character was great and I enjoyed the humor throughout the entire series.
