Other than he’s being a bit snarky but I would too if ya’ll constantly insulted me like you do him.

The perfesser comes here to troll the board.  He does the same on other forums as well.

He will rarely ever try to back up his assertions, resorting to name calling, playing the victim, wash, rinse, repeat.

I laugh at most of his post because it becomes evident he is just parroting liberal talking points without thought or knowledge of the subject.

But, as always, we are a free and open forum and do not censor anyone.

Yup, and my state will join them soon.  I predict there will be another surge, but I suspect it will be smaller in nature than the ones previously. I doubt it will be sufficiently large to imperil our medical infrastructure, which was frayed under previous surges.

Our medical structure was frayed, and damaged by the government bureaucrats in the way they bungled and totally mismanaged the pandemic.   The idiotic lockdowns destroyed much of the medical services, not the covid-19.

You idiot, who do you think teaches junior high school teachers this stuff?

You certainly don't.  One of the complaints of your students is your failure to understand the subject matter you are charged with teaching.

And from your writings, it's very apparent.

But that's just it.  Originalists say we're supposed to read it as written.  They have a point, trying to do telepathy on long dead legislators on why they wrote things they way they did is pure folly.  It is written with a preamble about a militia.

Thanks for making my point.  You have never read nor researched the subject, except for left wing biased "interpretations" and attempted history rewrites.

Hey look, I honestly don't give a shit.

Again, tell us something we haven't already figured out.  ::)

I research genetics, not your precious 38 caliber security blankets.

Making a retort such as that just goes to further show how clueless you are on the subject.

I'll never support anyone taking your weapons aways from you, there are some damn good reasons for folks owning them.  And I will never in my life support restricting someone's rights because it makes someone else feel better.  That's bullshit of the purest nature.  If firearms actually presented a clear danger to the non-firearm  owning public I'd feel differently, but they don't and neither do I.

 No argument

If the US firearm community had the brains Odin gave tardigrades they'd amend the Constitution and get rid of the militia clause. Make it nice and crystal.   The really sad thing is there is critical mass to do this. The firearm community is vast, well funded and emotionally driven.  It is a real tragedy that this hasn't happened already.

OK.   Now you are back to not understanding the subject at hand.  If you actually knew the subject matter you would see how silly the above is.

It is actually true that a huge swath of the country has some degree of immunity.  Apparently the vaccines are so good that they give you far greater immunity than actually contracting hte virus.  If you contract the virus there is still the possibility that you can host an infection, albeit a low level one, but one sufficient for you to spread the virus.  If you are vaccinated odds are you can't even do that.

Thing is in either case you aren't going to the hospital if you're infected.  The only people who will are those stubbornly refusing to be vaccinated for their fatuous reasons.  And I don't care what happens to them.  Darwin in action. Says me time to open up the country.

Please go find a junior high biology teacher to explain how this actually works.   You will be surprised.

A lot of legal scholars say we shouldn't interpret the Constitution, we should follow it as written.  So yeah, there's that stuff about a militia. The Founders could have just said "the right to bear arms shall not be infringed". Instead they put in a preamble about a militia.

Right now we're ignoring the part about the militia. Fine by me, by the way.  I've enumerated my thinking about firearms elsewhere on this site.  My problem is if you can ignore the first part, you can just as easily ignore the second, and some court might just decide to do that some day.

If you knew how to read and comprehend, or even do basic research, you would find out about how the document was written and what the founders intended in the final document.

But that wouldn't follow your preconceived notions.

I'm afraid I don't even know what that means.

Why is no one surprised?   ::)

So no one has made a claim of fraud that stood up to a court of law.

Those court cases you are attempting to cite never got to an evidentiary phase where the evidence could be presented.  They were thrown out over "laches" and "standing", a game of legal jujitsu to avoid letting the case be heard.

Again, none of those cases were thrown out on evidence.

That isn't that great a bar, by the way.  Even Trump's AG, who was a huge believer in expansive Executive power and bent over backwards to please his boss, said there was no evidence for fraud.

Very weak.  Barr turned his back, and the DoJ's back on even doing any meaningful investigations.  They were too concerned at high profile cases such as garage door pulls at NASCAR tracks.

just babbling gibberish..............

 Typical.

I believe both Arizona an George have been recounted twice each.  Will you believe it fair if the latest count comes out like the last two?

OK, do you understand the difference between a recount and a forensic audit?

Let's say the table is stacked with $100 bills equaling $1 million.   And it's been alleged that there are counterfeit bills in those stacks.

If we count the bills, we still come up with $1 million.   Nothing proved.

However, if we do a forensic audit, not a recount, we can discover if there are really any counterfeit bills to be found.

If you were the owner of that $1 million, would you want a recount or an audit?

https://dailycaller.com/2021/05/25/marty-makary-cdc-natural-immunity/

Quote
A professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine said Tuesday that almost “half the country” has natural immunity from COVID-19 due to prior infection.

Dr. Marty Makary appeared on “The Vince Coglianese Show” Tuesday, where he called dismissal of natural immunity “one of the biggest failures of our current medical leadership.”

Makary lamented the lack of guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for those who were infected but have recovered from the disease.

He also decried the demonization of people with natural immunity for refusing to get vaccinated, which Makary said is a reasonable decision, because “natural immunity works.”

Despite decades of solid science, questions over the efficacy of gained immunity — and even whether vaccinated people could spread the virus — have plagued debate about whether and when to reopen states, localities and businesses.
Fauci claimed that getting the vaccine “can do better than nature,” according to Business Insider. He further said that when COVID-19 survivors get the vaccine it “significantly boosts the immune response.”

“Vaccines are highly efficacious,” Fauci added, according to Business Insider. “They are better than the traditional response you get from natural infection.”

Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky sparked criticism just Sunday after he declared he would not be getting the vaccine, citing his previous infection and the resulting immunity.
“You had COVID-19. Should you get vaccinated? Rand Paul says no. Scientists say yes,” Yahoo News’ headline read.

“What Rand Paul gets wrong on vaccines,” a news analysis headline from CNN’s editor-at-large, Chris Cillizza, said. The piece went on to say how Paul’s decision to ride on his natural immunity defies the “science” and how such messaging is “wrong.”

A fun thought experiment.  What, if anything would convince you guys that the election was fair and square?

The DCP being transparent and stop trying to prevent legal and lawful audits from happening.

If they believe they won, fair and square, then they have nothing to fear, right?
