How stupid. These tech companies are ALREADY doing censorship fir the government. They are doing what was implied by the leftist tyrants. Now she’s threatened them with “legal liability” for misinformation?
She is codifying their right to censor by making it law. It's a back door thing. If you guys allow stuff contrary to what the government believes to be posted we're going after you. Obviously she can't say we want you to censor anything.

Day #3 of quarantine. Wife still wants to kill me.  Feeling just fine, O2 is at 98% this morning, temp at 96.8, blood pressure is good.

We can trust that the USSC will not allow it to stand.

right?
Not right. Back door censorship is what we will have.

Have you seen the bill Senator Amy has introduced?

If passed and signed to Government will become the official arbiter of the truth on social media.

So 10,000+ dead is not a demonstrable side effect?  30,000+ hospitalizations?  60,000 urgent care visits?  How about the 20,000 that had a severe allergic reaction?  Or maybe those 4,000 that suffered heart attacks?

How about the 1,000 women that suffered miscarriage's?

I had covid, it was like a very mild 3 day cold.   I'll take that over the vaccine any day.
Put that one up on FB and it was immediately tagged by Fuckerberg.

David Cross has been at the forefront of examining ballot images here in the state of Georgia. Here is a sample of what he has found.  He can be followed on Twitter (@GABallots)

Then I presume your wife freaked out so bad because she is worried about losing you, and not because she fears getting sick herself.  ;D
Funny thing is, through the last year and a half she has preached Faith over Fear to folks.  She seems more pissed off about the things we can't do right now. Sometime over the weekend I'll go get tested.

You have never heard me approve of mask mandates, lock downs or travel restrictions.  In fact, I am also opposed to mandatory vaccines, or even bribing people to get vaccines.  But except for a few people for whom the vaccine is medically contraindicated, I think reasonable people would choose to get the vaccine.  I'm glad I did.  And if you think that is "virtue signaling", at least I am not stuck at home under quarantine.  If YOU don't get a vaccine, then YOU are at a higher risk of getting the virus than I am.

On the other hand, if too few people do get the vaccine, and it continues to run it's course, then more variants will emerge, and I will again be put at higher risk.  Just not as high a risk as those that didn't get the vaccine.

As for allowing hundreds of thousands to illegally enter our country, I'd as soon shoot them on site rather that give them amnesty.  See how quickly the flood would turn into a trickle after that.  A side benefit would be all the legal liberal citizens that might be horrified into leaving the country.  Mexico would probably have to close THEIR border to keep them out.
Almost like the flu  ::)

I don’t remember if you’ve said whether you’re vaccinated but if you are you will have no problems. You might get it but won’t have a severe case. Might never even know you have/had it.
Not vaccinated, wife is.

A friend and his wife from my EAA Chapter caught COVID at a large church camp meeting event. She went into the hospital on Wednesday with pneumonia and is recovering expecting to go home today. He stayed home to ride it out. Yesterday he got scared a bit by going to take a shower and blacking out in the shower. He's monitored his O2 and it has never gone below 94%. He did run a fever earlier in the week. He had diarrhea, which I feel was his undoing. Probably wasn't eating well and keeping hydrated and that took him down.  He finally decided he should go to the ER. Being in no shape to drive, I went to go get him. I masked up and gloved up and had him do the same. He rode in the back passenger seat on the way to the ER, about 10-15 minute ride and he got out and went into the ER.

My wife totally freaked out about the whole thing, asking why 911 wasn't called to take him in an ambulance. Personally, I think spinning up a paramedic team and ambulance would have been wasteful. Anyhow, I'm now in isolation in the bedroom for a bit. I can get tested this weekend to see. I fond it highly doubtful that I will have contracted it. When I got home I stripped down and rubbed myself down with sanitizer.

So here I sit.

Gas prices were way depressed long before COVID.
That's a comforting statement but not factual.
I gave a factual representation of 7/19/2019 to 7/19/2021

If you are saying that prices went down later that year you would be correct. The lowest I saw in 2019 was $2.10.

But you certainly cannot compare 7/19/2020 to 7/19/2021 as a fair comparison of anything.
