The feckless Republicans should put a stop to all of this insanity.  But they won’t because so many are establishment, and they want their establishment control back.

How dare the citizens select a president!

One thing confusing to me, the media says they are Subpoenas and the Conservative commentators say they are not Subpoenas and are only letter to appear.  That is a big difference.  I responded to a tweet from Jamie Dupree, White House Reporter for Cox Media, and he sent me a link to a column of his.

With that column are two links to the "subpoenas", here is one link...
https://intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/dod_subpoena_schedule_10-07-19_hpsci.pdf
I then tweeted him back and asked why the "letter" didn't see to have anything that would identify it as a "subpoena".

I sure would some definitive information to know whether this is a "subpoena" or not.  Anybody have further info?

It’s not.  The dims are playing loose and fast with the law.

Read the Presidents attorney letter to Pelosi, he spells it out.

32 pages...what do you think we are?  We are pilots, we cannot read more than what is on an approach plate.   ;)

Can you give us a summary?

The key part is:
Quote
A subpoena may be authorized and issued by a committee or subcommittee under subparagraph (l)(B) in the conduct of any investigation or series of investigations or activities, only when authorized by a majority of the members voting, a majority being present.

The power to authorize and issue subpoenas under subparagraph (l)(B) may be delegated to the chairman of the committee pursuant to such rules and under such limitations as the committee may prescribe.
There has never been a such a vote so the subpoena is invalid.  And the power has not been delegated to the committee chairman.  I think.

Shit. I'm a VFR pilot who flies out of an uncontrolled field. Some of us can't even read an approach plate.

That’s alright. Being able to read the Sanskrit  of a METAR or TAF shows the brilliance of all of us pilots.

The Jihad Squad are just the most visible.  Most Democrats know they can't win legally, nor on the issues, and therefore must pull a Stalin to gain power.  That's what the DNC is all about now.

If they continue down this path and do gain power, especially with the White House and both houses of Congress it will get UGLY.
