Steingar says everyone on this board will defend Trump, even when he is wrong or says stupid shit.
Possibly not, but you're asking him to change who he is, something he's not going to do. How easily could you change the way you are? What I like most is how he pushes back and he's showing others how it can be done.
Levine had Tom Cotton on tonight of Fox, it was a good show. One thing Cotton mentioned was how many previous Presidents promised to move the Embassy in Israel, yet Trump actually carried through on it even though people said how horrible it would be and the mess it would create.
Concerning the Articles of Impeachment, one of them is Obstruction of Congress. I don't believe Congress truly has the authority to investigate the President. If so, the President has just as much right to investigate them. They say obstruction because folks wouldn't respond to subpoenas. Notice, the only recourse the House would have is to take it to court. That they don't have an enforcement method, means they don't have the authority to hand them out.
I may not have explained that very clearly. Go listen to the first hour of today’s Monica Perez show. She's on WSB in Atlanta. Not sure when the podcast of the show gets posted.
That's the blatant hypocrisy. For whatever reason, maybe because IT types tend to be liberal/progressives, these forums always have the Leftist bias. They require Leftist Affirmative Action to promote only that viewpoint. Liberal/Progressives love it because their views aren't questioned and shown to be pure crap. It is a "liberal safe place" as you state. Pilot Spin is NOT and that's why they don't have the BALLS to come here.

Nobody is perfect. I disagree with some of the retorts Trump gives, and how he gives them which are typically in response to what Democrats and/or the Communist Media says. These are mostly "counter punches". He gets down in the gutter with them, as that is all they understand.
Bush, and others never fought back because they FEARED THE MEDIA. Trump does not. Does he sometimes give them ammunition to use against him? Yes, but if you look at the big picture, that is relatively rare, but seems more prevalent due to the Media's over the top response.
We will see the ultimate outcome if he is reelected or not. I believe he will be.

I get frustrated by some of Trump's tweets and some of the things he says that shoot himself in the foot. Then I remember we purposely elected a non politician that doesn't carefully parse his words in sentences that have a lot of words but say nothing.
Unless you are telling me that the reports are a lie, then it was a stupid thing to say.
Oh, I still support him just as strongly as ever. I think he is right and the DNC/MSM is wrong on just about everything. But that doesn't stop him from saying stupid shit and causing even more people to have less respect for him. If he didn't keep saying stupid shit he would be elected by a landslide in November, in spite of the DNC/MSM. He probably will be anyway, but it makes it harder.
