What would be the outcome if
Republicans pick Kasich
Democrats pick Clinton
Trump runs under the Trump party (you know everything has to has his name on it)
Sanders runs as an Independent
Then the fun part the Twelfth Amendment
If no candidate receives a majority for president, then the House of Representatives will select the president.
If no candidate receives a majority for vice president, then the Senate will select the vice president.
We could have President Kasich and VP Clinton

The worst part about that scenario is that Kasich would probably have some sort of fatal accident in short order.
Otherwise, I wouldn't mind that too much.

Not possible. I do wish people would read the Constitution before speculating.
The House must select from among the top-3 vote getters in the electoral college for President.
The Senate must select from among the top 2 vote getters in the EC for Vice President.

Wouldn't it be possible if Kasich and Clinton were in the top 3?

No. They would then be eligible to be elected President by the House.
Neither would be eligible for selection by the Senate for Vice President, as it would be very unlikely that either would be in the top 2 vote getters for VP.
The electors vote separately for POTUS and VPOTUS.

Ok I read the constitution wrong about the VP
I still think a 4 way race would be interesting.

Fun to think about, but so unlikely. I can see the GOP picking somebody other than Cruz, or Trump. Maybe Kasich, maybe somebody else and Hillary is definitely the pick for the DNC come hell or high water. I can see Trump setting up his own tent possibly, but there is no way that Bernie would torpedo the Democrats. In the end he will fall in line and endorse Hillary.
In the most probable three way race, Hillary wins. A four way would be interesting and I think the country is in the mood for it, but I think everyone on both sides sees what's at stake and the established politicians will never let this happen.

No. It's not going to be a four way race.
