What a tangled web of accusation.

That article is chock full of fail.

I didn't write it.

The Aerostar is one of my dream planes. I'm not much of a Cruise fan, so put those two together, and it piqued my interest. from the narrative, I can't even figure out who was in what seat in the plane. The best I can cobble is that Berl was at the controls, and there was some kind of ersatz 'training' or 'check out' flight going on and they descended through a cloud deck into the valley and merged with Earth. Of course, no one knows what the deal is with the plane, if it suffered some kind of malfunction. The curve of the props is indicative of producing power at impact, but of course, that is subject to a lot of research. There's a link to the Colombian investigation but I don't read Spanish very well, so can't make out much.

I fly an Aerostar 600--it's a responsive, fun airplane. You ought to go give one a spin sometime. Or maybe not a literal spin, but a whirl. ;)

If I go twin, it's gonna be an Aerostar.
Tell me about the most economical setting. Like a non-turbo, nonpressure early model. If i run at 50% power, what's the typical cruise and fuel burn? I don't want to go big like turbos, and pressure, I just want a 600A with low time engines and props.
