Have you noticed that you don't really get two day delivery anymore. They like to get you to hold off now to see if you order more stuff and ship it together. I think they call it Amazon Day Shipping. A friend of mine found this article.

I've seen the offer, but I never accepted it and all of my deliveries have come the next day.

Much more predictable than USPS.  I sent my passports in for renewal on Jan 7 via USPS Priority Mail.  2-3 days expected (not guaranteed).
The package left Orlando on the 7th and as of today (Sunday 16th) it is still en-route to the next facility.

I live in the DFW metromess. 

I get most of my orders in 1-2 days.

I did order a battery that is taking 10 days.

I hate to say it, but it is like when I order a meal at a restaurant post lockdown....  if it is mostly right, I just eat it.
