Just curious about the turnaround time.
My sister applied 2 months ago and still status is "pending". Hubby and I went and applied the day before yesterday, and we just checked our status and it is approved, and they gave us the Known Traveler Number. We haven't got the e-mail yet but since the status login gave us a number, we assume it's all approved? It says they have "completed your eligibility determination". How did they do the whole background check and all in just 48 hours?

I did Global Entry for the whole family. Wife and I before Covid. It took 60 days.
Kids during Covid. 90 days. Interview time included with those times.
Pre Check is included with GE.
Wife and I just renewed our GE and it took less than a day and the cards arrived within a week.
I know pre check is worth it as generally the lines are very short. DFW had several TSA points that do not have Pre Check.

We get a wheelchair for my wife at the airport so we also get through quickly. 8)
