But look at how the writer twists the story. These people are just standing up and protecting all that they've worked hard for all their lives, and for that they're called racist, or worse, backwards Trump supporters.
The writer portends that the town needs to change, and that's total bullshit. It's their town, they can live as they see fit. Don't like it? Live in another town! Simple.
Just another case of the blue populous coastal attitude that every place in America must be like them. Everywhere in America ISN'T like NYC, Chicago, and SF. STOP meddling in others lives. Live and let live.
