Title: The American Left’s Army of Dupes
Post by: nddons on July 10, 2019, 11:07:54 AM
“The hierarchy of the left in America today may euphemistically refer to their brand of socialism as Democratic Socialism and emphasize their unattainable benevolence, but their end game is the same with the exception of an authoritarian oligarchy in control instead of a tyrannical dictator.

“This hierarchy, and potential oligarchy, is made up of a large component of tenured academics at America’s universities; major financial supporters of left-wing causes; a significant segment of management at the mainstream media; many dominant producers and executives in the entertainment establishment; numerous Democratic Party elected headliners; and the titans of Silicon Valley.

“Meanwhile, all of you in the rank and file left need to grow up, focus on developing the cognitive ability to reason and generate an original thought and leave behind the infantile Nazi, Fascist and white supremacist name-calling as well as infatuation with Marxist Socialism which only benefits those in the hierarchy of your movement who couldn’t care less about you except to view you as useful idiots.”

I would add much of Wall Street, and on a growing basis, more, and more of Corporate America outside of Silicon Valley, Tech, and Media.  It is the Perfect Storm of totalitarian oppression, and tryranny.

The only reason I can think of for Corporate America to be siding with the socialists is that the radical left is louder and more militant and prone to boycotts than the right.  Either that, or they see themselves on the power  side of the socialist equation.  There is always one side of the socialist movement that is more equal than the other side.

I think someone needs to tell the 20+ idiotic Dem presidential candidates that when they all talked about “fighting Wall Street” they  are actually beating themselves.

Maybe liberal Wall Street types are just cuckholds, willing to be humiliated in order to stay in the good graces of their political overlords.

It seems more, and more CEO's, and company leadership are Leftist, pushing leftist causes, and a PC corporate culture.  I've seen it in some of the large corps I've worked for.  Yes, I believe it is that they already are the powerful elite, that have theirs, and now want to block others and, consolidate power and wealth to themselves and their elite cronies.

A lot of it is the corporate headquarters are located in cities and the cities have become islands of monolithic liberal culture. They grew up in it from birth and, going to school, now run by the left, never learned any better. Some of them might not even know capitalism benefits them; they were indoctrinated with the premise that leftism is default. And if they do understand free markets, they cozy up to government for advantage. They use tax loopholes to protect their personal wealth while promoting socialism for everyone else, believing, apparently, that money grows on trees in the yards of the middle class and rednecks in flyover country they hate so much. That’s how you square corporate fat cats being leftist.

That is very true.  Their employees are typically from the city and burbs which are now also Democrat, far left, Progressive.  So, they are willing accomplices to the indoctrination, and PC corporate culture we see now.

I think they are pandering.  There are more poor people than rich people, so if they appeal to the poor masses, they will make more money and become more rich.  The more "free" money the government gives to the poor, the more money they will have to buy the products produced by those rich technology companies.
