To all my Florida friends:

Be safe. I can’t afford to go to 30 baby showers next June because you lost power in September.

Ha!

Trump would be safe. No bird would try for his ginormous ones.
I’ve been encouraged to get these colorful socks they guys are wearing now - “they make a statement” people say.

Yes, yes they do. And that’s why I don’t wear them.

Experts say the fearsome bird mistook the man’s exposed privates as a couple of birds eggs and dropped in for a tasty snack.

As the man – who has not been named – dozed on his patio in his detached home near Ipswich, the seagull swooped from the sky, and with one bite of its beak ripped away the right testicle.

A spokesman for research group Seagull Watch International confirmed that seagulls often feed on the eggs of small birds.

“Eggs are full of protein – it’s why we eat them, after all. Gulls will often steal other birds’ eggs, so it is unfortunate for this man that his private parts resembled a couple of eggs in a nest.

I had the chance to hear him talk many years ago as a CAP cadet. I always remember how he talked about how the rescuers left the cockpit for last while searching for survivors because it was crushed so bad that they didn't think anybody would have survived.
Amazing man. He and his crew (I think the had a flight engineer on the DC-10, but don’t know if they got rid of them by then) had no idea what actually had happened to the aircraft. They had to think things through, using differential thirst to turn the aircraft, etc.  Wild ride.

Haynes work on that massive problem on the DC-10 made Sullly look like a mere passenger.

Rest In Peace.

Pilot Zone / Is Obama not aware the oceans are rising?

Apparently not after buying a mansion on Martha’s Vineyard with 29 acres of oceanfront property.

And here I thought he was a true believer. I guess not.

It’s a fact that under Capitalism some people get ever more richer and more powerful. Maybe it’s not “fair” but at least individuals are free to try to be one of the rich, and everyone is free to purchase or reject any product.

Those employees are making 16 cents less than they would if the CEO had a salary of 0, but then, would they even still have a job at all?

Under collectivism, planned economies and government owned or regulated industry, we still have the filthy rich and powerful. The difference is the rest of us are denied the opportunity to participate unless we belong to the elite party. In NK I think it’s approximately 18% of the people. The rest are starving.
Exactly. These mind-numbed supporters of socialism don’t see, either through willful ignorance or shear stupidity, that their system transfers power from a meritocracy to an oligarchy.  They must see themselves a future oligarchs.

Was he married to my last wife?  That is her to a "T".  The difference is, I recognized it, and I was the one to file for divorce.   And yes she threatened to lie to the police, but never actually did, thank God.  She moved out when she realized she would get a nice monthly spousal support and alimony from me and could afford the lifestyle she though she deserved.  I owned my home before we were married, so she couldn't claim it as hers.  No kids.
And in a post-Red Flag Law environment, that would have been sufficient for a judge to say you are unsafe and come and confiscate your guns.

I live 30 miles north of Milwaukee; one of the poorest, most violent, racially segregated, liberal cities in the country. The county I live in is very conservative, relatively free from major crimes (unless it is a Milwaukee transplant causing problems), and is the richest county in Wisconsin. Coincidence? I think not.
The last Republican mayor in Milwaukee left office in 1908. The rest have been Democrats and Socialists.

Coincidence?  I think not.

The longest I’ve been able to ignore the news has been about two days. It was blissful! I’d love to extend that. But you have to be able really to keep an iron grip on your thoughts ... because you know, and can see everywhere, that the left’s grip on our country is ever tightening through its ceaseless grinding and chipping and attempt to define our lives and our culture.
I ignored 100% of the news from 7/17 -7/28 when I was up at OSH. If I checked my phone or FB, it was to EAA or aviation pages only. It was glorious. Once home, I felt no need to watch national news for over a week.

Looks like the people are not listening to the news, and are still shopping.

It must be that extra pocket change that they now have burning a hole in their pocket and feeling confident.  They obviously aren’t paying attention to the East Coast power brokers trying to pull the middle class’ puppet strings telling them the sky is falling.

I knew you didn't invent the saying.  That is why I said "As Stan used to quote", rather than "As Stan said".
You were the on the brought it to my attention and I just wanted to give you credit for that.  I have used it a hundred times because it is just so true.
Yes, it’s perfect. We see they today with all the virtue signaling and white self-hate.
