Spin Zone / Re: “Domestic Violent Extremist”

The next war will be Americans against the federal government and it will ugly and bloody.

This is the day communist democrats have been drooling for. They can't wait until it is illegal to disagree.

Their bullshit, imbecilic arguments can't survive real debate, so enforced silence is the only option.

Look how fast communist democrats resort to wishes for death when the rest of us refuse their dogmatic lies.

Look how proudly commie democrats ignore the antifa and blm fuckbags  and their violence, arson, looting and out of control racism, while pretending that the protest on January 6th nearly ended America. That level of hypocrisy should be reserved for the mentally ill, which I believe democrats have become as a group.

The ability to blindly hold such diametrically opposite and delusional beliefs is a sure sign of mental illness and I think the democrat party is there.

I’m asking you. You don’t have an answer?

And your response to Bob Noel is a little cowardly. You ascribe that he will call you an anti-Semite when all he asked is why YOU think the Israelis protest too much, yet you also chose not to answer his question.

We’re all still waiting for your answer.

Well, Bob did assume he hates Israel, which was a bit inflammatory.

I don’t keep up with Ben and Jerry’s ‘s politics, nor care much about the Israel/Palestine conflict. I used to be more pro-Israel, and I’ll never be pro radical jihadists, but these days I’m considering revising my opinion to: the U.S. needs to stay the hell out of it and stop supporting either side. They’ll never make peace with each other. I said I’m considering it. There’s still the Iran question and Israel’s importance as an ally, but I’m looking at that with more skepticism these days as I no longer trust either the warmongering Democrats nor the warmongering Republicans and what I’m beginning to regard as propaganda from both sides.

Anyhoo, since I didn’t know what the heck that Ben and Jerry’s thing was, I dug up this clarification:

https://www.benjerry.com/about-us/media-center/opt-statement

The FAQs explain everything.

My take on that is, private corporations should stay the hell out of using their marketing to further political and social agenda. Who are they hurting here? Little kids who want ice cream. Fuck that.

There is only one Truth, and it isn’t of this world.

When any government or its wholly-owned media accomplices tell you what the truth is, it’s because they have evil intent.  It is our duty to reject them.

Three contractors bid to fix a broken fence at the White House. One is from Chicago, another is from Kentucky and the third is from New Orleans. All three go with a White House official to examine the fence.
The New Orleans contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil.
"Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about $9,000. That's $4,000 for materials, $4,000 for my crew and $1,000 profit for me."
The Kentucky contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, "I can do this job for $7,000. That's $3,000 for materials, $3,000 for my crew and $1,000 profit for me"
The Chicago contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, "$27,000."
The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys. How did you come up with such a high figure?”
"The Chicago contractor whispers back, "$10,000 for me, $10,000 for you, and we hire the guy from Kentucky to fix the fence."
"Done!" replies the government official.
And that, my friends, is how the Government Stimulus plan worked.

You know, like Hunter Biden’s painting 🙄

Remember ... Four boxes keep us free: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.
"I love my country ... it's the government I'm afraid of!"

Years ago, a young Navy Pilot was injured while ejecting from his A-4 Skyhawk due to engine failure during a catapult shot from the carrier. Due to the heroics of rescue helicopter crew and the ship's hospital staff, the only permanent injury was the loss of one ear.

Since he wasn't physically impaired, he remained on flight status and eventually became an Admiral. However, during his career he was always sensitive about his appearance.

One day the Admiral was interviewing two Navy Master Chiefs and a Marine Sergeant Major for his personal staff. The first Master Chief was a Surface Navy type and it was a great interview. At the end of the interview the Admiral asked him, "Do you notice anything different about me?"

The Master Chief answered, "Why, yes, Admiral. I couldn't help but notice that you are missing your starboard ear, so I don't know whether this impacts your hearing on that side."

The Admiral got very angry at this lack of tact and threw him out of his office.

The next candidate, an Aviation Master Chief, when asked this same question, answered, "Well yes, Sir, you seem to be short one ear."

The Admiral threw him out as well.

The third interview was with the Marine Sergeant Major. He was articulate, extremely sharp, and seemed to know more than the two Navy Master Chiefs put together. The Admiral wanted this guy but went ahead with the same question. "Do you notice anything different about me?"

To his surprise, the Sergeant Major said, "Yes Sir. You wear contact lenses."

The Admiral was impressed and thought to himself, what an incredibly tactful Marine. "And how would you know that?" the Admiral asked.

The Sergeant Major replied: "Well, sir, it's pretty hard to wear glasses with only one f'in' ear. "

Anyone following that story?
https://www.cnet.com/news/reddits-gamestop-stock-surge-is-a-terrifying-new-occupy-wall-street/

I had heard about it from Styxhexenhammer666, I’ll link the video.

I find this interesting:

Quote
There's a common through line with not just the DC riot but also the hacktivist collective Anonymous, Bernie Bros and even baseless conspiracy theory QAnon. It's the idea of fighting against a corrupt system that you feel is screwing you over. It's harnessing the anger and frustration that comes with that mindset. That same sentiment, fueled by the insular culture of message board interactions and its own lingo, has helped spark the rise in extremism in this country.

That’s what I’m saying!  The lefties and the righties need to get together. It’s the corrupt system that’s screwing both of us. But this article claiming message boards are causing the rise of extremism is way off base. First of all, “extremism” is being redefined. It now includes people with perfectly reasonable grievances. Secondly, “extremism” is born out of oppression. The rise of expressed grievances comes from historical abuse. On the left, they feel abused by capitalism for centuries. On the right, they feel abused by government for at least one and a half centuries, but many on the right are seeing now the evil of corrupt capitalism with the malignant growth and power of mega corporations, and I hope that a lot on the left are beginning to see the evil of an overbearing government (mass surveillance for example).

My opinion, small business free market capitalism with focused opportunities for oppressed minorities (inner city blacks and Appalachian whites for example have similar lack of business opportunities, and being trapped in a jobless environment) and the traditional conservative overlooks this, while the conventional leftist wrongly thinks government redistribution of wealth is the only answer. Both are wrong, but both have the current government/mega-corporate alliance as a common Overlord and the two sides getting together has got to be what they fear the most. But both sides would need to start with understanding each other, then finding compromises. And I fear even mentioning this online will get me put on some kind of watch list.

For the pathetic, left wing, communists who make believe that what they see on cnn is news...

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2021/01/07/utah-man-with-a-history-of-organizing-blm-protests-was-inside-the-capitol-n2582766

I spent hours following things closely in real time with one of the reporters who was in the thick of it, who got tear gassed himself, and I concluded there were leftists (BLM/Antifa) in the crowd.

First, logic and common sense tells you there’s no way they were not going to be there. It was way too good an opportunity to hide among the crowd and be part of something historic.

But more importantly, remember, those groups are also against the current power structure in place. I’ve been preaching for years that the true conflict here is not Democrat vs Republican or even conservative vs liberal, the true conflict is the common people vs the elite class. What separates the sides is we disagree on what should replace the status quo. Trump supporters want it to go back to small government under the original constitutional blueprint and BLM/Antifa want it to be replaced with a leftist “utopia”, which means use a new blueprint. (They are the useful idiots of the communist faction embedded within the status quo.)

But both groups want to purge the existing people within the structure that aren’t part of their cause; Pelosi, Schumer etc. on the left, and RINOs on the right. So for that moment, they were aligned, and both sides were invading the Capitol to send the same message: “You have become disconnected and corrupt, the Capitol belongs to us the People.”

Remember, the leftist protesters didn’t want Biden, they wanted Sanders, and also remember they are a diverse group with differing ideologies, some anarchists. They see Biden as the lesser of two evils between him and Trump, but they still want to dismantle the current power structure, or rather, take it over and “transform” it using their operatives already in place (the radical arm of the Dems).

The story as I got it from people who were there in real time, is that the first violent acts were carried out by Antifa/BLM plants, but that Trump supporters enthusiastically joined in and they greatly outnumbered the leftist plants. So the reports in the media that “Trump supporters stormed the Capitol”, is partial truth, well yes, mostly they were Trump supporters but the storm was triggered by the leftist plants who also participated fully in the siege if not initiated the actual first breech.

The politicians work for us.  The buildings belong to us.  They should not be insulated from We The People.   That's why we are in this mess.  They have forgotten that.  It is now just a money and power game to enrich themselves and USE us.

When you commit insurrection and treason, it is against the Constitution, not the people holding office. That is what the Trump haters (including members on this board) are completely missing. The storm on the Capitol was NOT about Trump and not instigated by Trump despite what the lying media says and what the uninformed believe.

It was about losing the Constitution, because whether or not there really was election fraud, the Trump supporters believe there was, which means they believe the Constitution has been abandoned, and that the constitutionally mandated process of elections is now hopelessly tainted. And if that is true, we no longer have a Constitutional government. We have a government structure that the political class has usurped and they have now crowned themselves permanent rulers.

Before my time in service, I'd never met or seen in the flesh a self-described "Redneck". A particular one (senior of mine) drove a beat up Ford truck with an Ole Dixie bumper sticker on it, just like in the movies. We had conversations then and we both came away with a greater knowledge of different backgrounds (at least I did - he never asked about mine).

Not sure where you're from, but people who grow up in the South usually come to grips with racism early on.  The old days are long gone here and anyone who even makes a racist joke gets called out.

Back when you were in the service, the Dixie flag was used to denote southern heritage, before it was turned into a political symbol.  Merely being a Redneck and having a flag on your truck did not make you an automatic racist.  Yes, that history included slavery and Democrat led efforts like Jim Crow and the Klan.  It's not something to be proud of, but we'll take our cue from history and learn not to repeat it.  Honestly, these days, the few racist people I meet in the south all have New Jersey accents.
