I'm gonna take a left turn here (see what I did there?) and concur that for a too large a population, that is foster children, the state is in fact the father of the child.  Having had foster children in our home I'll one day write a post about the intrusiveness that is DCS while trying to provide support to children in state custody.

And I can see that my opening salvo became a distraction from the issue of MIND CONTROL SLAVES.
