Maybe, but he's basing his prognosis on the results of just two elections. The rest of his video seems to revolve around Democratic media mindset that he sees as repeating past mistakes.

(Seems like I now have to view longer videos of talking heads at 1.5 or even 2.0 times their normal speed for me to have the patience to sit through them.)

He also admits he was wrong about 2018.  I really need to hear hopeful stuff.

But what if he’s wrong, what if all those Democrat business owners blame Trump instead of their own idiot Dem governors and local officials somehow for the shutdown.

I'm hoping that small business owners are generally smarter and more astute than the average sheeple.

I hope so.  The Media, Entertainment, Social Media and of course the Democrats will blame Trump.  It is up to people to see the real culprits in all this.

I hope so too.  A significant number of them in blue states will be ex-small business owners and they need to recognize that their Democrat governors are to blame.

A great number of them will forget who told them they had to close and who is saying everyone needs to reopen now.

I just don’t know if them recognizing that the Democrat governors who screwed them over will translate into not voting democratic in the presidential election. The culture divide is so strong, if they are on the side of “woke”, SJW, etc., and they despise Trump, then being screwed by a blue state at the state level isn’t going to result in a sudden epiphany that their whole paradigm is wrong..... or could it?

I truly think that if it weren't for the Democrat controlled Media, Social Media, TECH and Entertainment, Trump would have pushed back on this total sham of a lock down and economic collapse.  If he hadn't gone along with this SCAM he would have been vilified with the Dems/Media and all the others saying he was responsible for over 100,000 deaths and counting with "BLOOD ON HIS HANDS".  It would have been a certain loss for him in November.

I agree. He had no choice, anyone in his position would have done the same. Although I think Steingar would have been able to invent antibody testing faster had he been president. ;D

Trump did exactly the right thing. He ordered a sustainable shutdown, to flatten hospital demand, for a reasonable time. First it was two weeks, then two more weeks, for 30 days total. People were all in ... this was a scary virus and we hunkered down.

At the 30-day point, people were all ears and wondering what was next. The President gave a brilliant, much anticipated press conference at which he outlined HIS reopening strategy. I watched the whole thing and took notes.

Essentially he said the cure cannot be worse than the disease, something he has tweeted a number of times in the past month since the presser. He listed case numbers, actual and expected. He outlined the need to be prepared both for spikes in cases after reopening and in the fall. He acknowledged we knew more about the virus than we had at the outset, were learning more all the time, and would over time be able to respond based on our new knowledge.

He stressed the need to watch for outbreaks, pockets of cases, and promptly contain them.

He emphasized that we could not stay locked down forever and must take care to protect vulnerable people, and that we had a very clear understanding of who those people are.

He expressed solemn and heartfelt sympathy for victims and families and all Americans suffering from this terrible situation. He said he had lost a good friend to the virus, and said it is a terrible thing and he knows how awful it is for people to be facing this.

He said we are a resilient people and we can get through this if we are smart and act responsibly.

Then he did something no one really expected him to do, because the media had been trying day and night to hype him up, as always, as a dictator and petty, selfish, power-hungry tyrant, so that every death and economic disaster could be laid at his feet. But it was not to be.

He promised federal help, but turned each state’s reopening over to the governors.

They (Democrats, Progressives, Media, etc) call him a King, and Dictator, then when he doesn't act like one call him weak and indecisive, so he can not win.  When you ask them what laws, policies, or actions he has enacted that are like a Dictator you get CRICKETS.   Or them spitting out, "Well he should have done MORE sooner for the virus!!!"

Dems are brainwashed. I know people that blame Trump for the Flint, MI water crisis.

The thing can help Trump immensely would be the ability to hold rallies again. Biden cannot begin to compete with that.  Hell, Biden doesn't even know why he wasn't to be President, except OMB.

Rush just said "Do not doubt me on this: Republican turnout will defeat Democrat efforts at fraud and cheating."

He was referring to California where the governor had declared all polls will be closed and voting will be mail in, because they want to cheat of course, because polls can obviously open as safely as Walmart without mass death.

So Rush says, even though it's California, they don't need to cheat, they're just always in that mindset, but they are worried because of the districts that flipped Republican because... then he said what I quoted above.

Good!  All the sweeter the wailing and crying and shock when Trump wins.

Haha! Rush says ignore the polls. They are all lies. (Referring to predictions Trump won’t win.)

And Rush is right. This virus is not as bad as other pandemics, yet the GOVERNORS, not POTUS, chose to shut the economy down cold. Such shutdown has never been done in world history.

I find the Democrat TV ad talking about what Trump did to the economy totally laughable.

As long as Trump gets HIS message out (not through GOP political consultants’ slick ads, but straight from Trump), he should win in a landslide.
