WTF is Kin, and why should I give it? 

This keeps popping up on some SZ threads. Every time you scroll up, this thing follows. Irritating as fuck on Tapatalk.

I don't use Tapatalk, so I have never seen "kin".  Seems some type of liking for a post???

I have Tapatalk but have the paid version. So I don’t get ads. Agree it’s annoying

It’s a blockchain token. Can’t be good. Have you seen Black Mirror? The episode where everyone rates each other through their phone? That’s basically it. People who earn a lot of kin will be considered higher quality content creators. Kind of like a privatized Chinese Social Credit System only instead of the government it’s the big Tech firms keeping score on your behavior. I suppose people with little kin will get edged out by the robot algorithms.
