What are some phrases that you use which either date you (age wise) or indicate a geographical location?

I'll start with a few I use almost daily:

1) "use it like a rented mule" to refer to how most mules were rode hard and put up wet back before row crops were plowed by machines

2) "have a big weekend" to wish someone a good weekend

3) "cash on the barrel head" to mean cash is only accepted form of payment

I grew up in the Midwest raised by a father from Oklahoma and a mother from Chicago and now live in the mid-south.  A lot of sayings bounce around in my gray (or grey) matter as I rapidly approach the start to my 5th decade.
