They have lost the fear of the voters. Voter apathy is rampant, and in crucial elections they can overcome the will of the voter with various "techniques".
The regime is now floating a balloon with the idea of mass amnesty to "solve the immigration crisis". That was the intent all along, importing democrat voters.
