I know some folks loved Trump's stand on immigration...did you vote for him in the primaries so that he could halt Obama's mass deportations?

The GOP had an opportunity. The Democrats were hell bent on nominating the candidate with the worst negative ratings in history. But instead of nominating anyone else, the GOP went out and nominated the one person in the country that had worse negatives, on top of being a donor of the Democrat nominee. At that point they ceded the presidential election outright.

And you missed my point. My point was that the fact of a President Hillary was a consequence of the GOP nominating the one person in the country with higher negatives than Hillary.

I think ALL of them, right down to Jim Gilmore, had a better chance against Hillary than Donnie.
The Dems nominate a candidate with record-breaking negatives, so what does the GOP do? Say "Challenge Accepted" and nominate the one person on earth with worse negatives.
