Neither does just talking about about it. I'll ask one more time. What do you want "us" to do? And what do you plan to do about it?
Stan asked the above and the peanut gang has piled on. Here's what you can do NOW
There is racism going on in the guise of "outrage" over the speech made by Jesse Williams during the BET Awards. These same racist chuckle heads even made Justin Timberlake retract a tweet in support of the speech.
What YOU (plural yous) can do is: speak publicly against these fools who want to quash JW (or anyone) who dares speak against the empire.

I'm not saying you are wrong. What you are saying would be the right thing to do. In fact, I do that frequently in my daily life.
I'll make you a deal. I will be even more outspoken about white on black racism, when I hear more Muslim outrage against Muslim extremists and terrorists. Ok, maybe that is not an appropriate trade because not all Muslims are black.
How about when I see blacks try harder to raise themselves up and out of poverty and drugs and crime, rather than making excuses about things that happened a couple of hundred years ago.
As an aside, I was at the beach yesterday and I saw at least 6 mixed race families. White children (boys and girls) were horsing around and playing and having fun with black children as if there were no differences. And nobody on the beach paid them any attention (except maybe for me, and I was watching because I was happy about it). And this is in a State that up until relative recently had a "colored beach" because blacks weren't allowed on the white beach.

Joe, I like your deal but unfortunately we're going to both have to work at it. MSM is t going to show you Muslim protests against extremism because it's not in their agenda, but I ran a Google and came up with a load of them.
The Stats on drugs and crime show that it's even on black-white crime (but white crime is under reported) and white drug use is higher.
I'm coming to see that the US vs THEM is a lot more sinister and is an outside force pitting one group against another for their sick amusement. Someday, I'd like to call you my brother, but for now at least I don't call you my enemy.

I support the right to free speech. There is no right to not be offended by someone else's free speech. Therefore I would call out anyone advocating a boycott of the TV show or the firing of Williams.
Where this guy misses the boat is in ignoring the black kids in Chicago shooting each other, where on one weekend more die than are killed by cops in an entire year. A place where year after year, people vote for the same machine that runs the place and made it what it is today. And then wonder why the schools suck, there are no jobs, and anyone with any resources at all leaves and never comes back.

The causes and mechanisms of the pervasive racism in our society are numerous, hence the solution will be complex. Just saying "stop doing what you're doing" is simplistic and unreasonable. They're doing what they're doing for a reason. Until the situation changes they're going to keep doing it.

I knew there would come a time when I eventually agreed with your!
(Actually, I do think we have agreed once or twice before).

If the "situation" includes education (or lack thereof), then I agree.

The causes and mechanisms of the pervasive racism in our society...
I do not accept this premise as factual. Pervasive? I don't think so.

On one hand, I feel similarly,
But, if I was on the receiving end, I would probably feel differently.
About 15 years ago, I had occasion to take a black assistant out to dinner at a nice restaurant while we were on an out of town business trip. She was very pretty. The looks of scorn we received were real. I know things are getting better, but 15 years ago is not that long ago. And the depth of anger that we could feel from the stares still lingers with me.

15 years ago, my boss was a black guy. I never noticed what you describe. However, I was very glad to be in his company after dark in the big city.

Piggybacking here - did you guys hear about the 32 young black men killied on Monday in Illinois? It wasn't ISIS or terrorism or cops shooting suspects. It was just young black men shooting other young black men on Independence Day.
Where is the outrage? The protests? The hand wringing? Nobody did this but the people involved.
