I don't really think of the Disney ad as antisemitic despite its use of the Star of David. I just don't see any inherent link between Jews and stickers. Or snow. Or ice. Or snowmen. It does kinda look like a kippah on the one guy's head, but not that much.
This Trump add however drips of it. The Star of David on top of an image of money is an obvious reference to Jews and their monetary support of Clinton. Harkens back to the old antisemitic diatribe that Jews control the world by controlling its capital. Trump has used such images in the past, they speak to those he sees as his base.
The really sad thing is Trump could have deflated this easily. He could have simply said he was sorry if he caused offense, and that he didn't mean any anti-semitism. Heck, I would've bought that, though I am a gullible sort. Instead, in typical Trump fashion, he doubled down.
The funniest thing is he's been handed the BEST election year scandal anyone could ask for. And he's bungled it completely. Talk about inept.

I think that's a pretty far stretch. Do you see the connection because you want to? I don't associate the Jewish people with money, I associate them with God, piety and a cycle of turning their back on God and being punished for it / rejoicing in rediscovering Him.
In the Trump ad, the money is obviously linked to Hillary and the star is a starburst which happens to have 6 sides because it's easier to write a message in a six sided star than a 5 sided one.

Well, there's also the fact that the source of the graphic was a alt-right site that is dripping with terms like "kike", but nah, I'm sure it was a Sheriff's star, absolutely sure of it.

I'm pretty sure it was meant to be a starburst, a graphical element to attract attention. Before anyone brought it up, I thought it was just another poorly made ad. I think one would have to be racist to being with to see racism in this.

Perhaps you're anti-anti semitic? I'm not painting the majority of Trump supporters with this brush. I won't even paint the Donald himself, even though much of his rhetoric does suggest rabid bigotry. However, he had that image and placed there to appeal to an anti-semitic faction within his target audience, and he has used white supremacist images in the past. He did this on purpose and for a reason. Courting this lot is fairly despicable for a Presidential candidate.

I am an on-the-fence, middle moderate with a slight right lean in a battleground state. I am exactly the target audience.
I think the only people who would call this image racist 1) are racist themselves or 2) dislike the message and are attempting to detour it with a racism charge, thus cheapening real racism.
