...says the officer who shot a behavioral therapist who was trying to console an autistic man to keep him from being hurt. The Black man had his hands up and was horizontal on the ground fully exposed as the officer shot him and said that he doesn't know why he shot him.
Also in the article are stats about police shootings, which directly refutes assertions made elsewhere on this site that that exists a siege against Black Men by the police.

I have known many cops over the years that have long felt they were the ones under siege by blacks.

The instant I saw this on the news a verse from Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues" went through my head......trigger happy policing.....

I wonder what the statistics are for police officers who are black that have shot a black suspect.
Would those shootings be part of the "siege"?
