Excerpt:

'Journalists' clap and cheer for Clinton during 'press conference

Following her speech, Clinton participated in a Q&A with five pre-selected journalists.

The event's organizers and Clinton's campaign team maintain that the Q&A portion of the candidate's appearance at the journalism convention constituted a "press conference."

That means, then, that the Democratic presidential candidate held a "press conference" in a room filled with people who just moments earlier were cheering and applauding her vision for the White House.

NABJ President Sarah Glover said Friday that Clinton's appearance marked the "largest press conference with any presidential candidate before a room filled with journalists of color."

From the rest of the political press – silence.  That this travesty of journalism could go unnoticed and unremarked upon by other reporters covering the event defies belief.

This is how freedom dies – with thunderous applause.

This may be why she is so tightly controlling her appearances.

You nailed it. This is what happens when an ideology controls the education system, the media, the news reporting and much of the judicial system. There has been a slow, but steady transformation of America since the early 20th century and it's picking up the pace now. The America as we have known it, will be gone in one, maybe two more generations. In the future, if they bother to hold elections at all, it will be a choice between left and further left.

People think that when the backwards thinking right wing is finally buried in the past and only correct, enlightened, educated thinking prevails, that life will be good for all. They know this because they can look to Europe and see all the sweet harmony and prosperity over there.

She answers questions for five hand selected reporters and they call it a press conference and the liberals eat it up.

Clinton has held fewer press conferences than any other nominee.  I suspect her administration will be the least transparent since Nixon.

Obama's administration has been the most subversive, and secretive in history.  They make Nixon look like Mother Teresa.  Hillary was part of it, and responsible for a lot of the cover ups including the Benghazi video LIE.  So I would agree that Hillary will continue Obama's lying and deceit.

Do you think Nixon's administration was less transparent than Obama's?

I don't, but I guess that is a subjective assessment.

It truly is transparent to launder $400M US Dollars to pay ransom for some citizens.  ;)

Childish to say "She's a bigger liar than me."  A liar and cheat is a liar and cheat no matter how bold.  Not a dig at you Stan, just the meme.

Actually, no. It's bigger than that. It's a reflection of society's in general, and democrats' specifically, tolerance and acceptance of cheating, corruption, and lawlessness, as long as their goals are being met.

Show me a single democrat who is having a crisis of conscience about voting for Hillary.

Ok, that tells me not to speak in absolutes with such a literal group of pilots.

Let me rephrase:  Show me a prominent democrat or public group of democrats who are having a crisis of conscience in voting for  Hillary. Are they making noises about it?  Is the press highlighting the "splits" in the Democratic Party over such crisis?

Google "Democrats Against Hillary".  You will find quite a few.

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/06/03/blue-collar-democrats-turn-against-hillary-clinton-over-radical-islam-loss-of-us-manufacturing-base/

Edit - Bernie did surprisingly well due to that distaste for Hillary.  Just like there are Republicans that will vote for the Donald only because he is the Republican candidate, there are also Democrats that will vote for Hillary for the same reason.

You know that if we can't nail you on content, then we will get you on spelling, or grammar, or perhaps we will just reword your statement to prove it can be extrapolated to the nonsensical extreme.

I agree with you that the Democratic leadership is solidly and willingly behind Clinton.  But many of the followers, who through ignorance or naievity usually blindly follow the Democrat talking points are starting to wise up to Hillary.  Maybe not enough, but many.

What?!  No, I've been watching the MSM and it's only Republicans that are turning on Trump.  Are you telling me they're not being balanced?  (/sarcasm)

Agreed. Here in the Bay Area, there are a great many who are pissed about it. Most will likely suck it up and vote Clinton, but they are not going to do so in good conscience.

Count me among the conservatives who will vote for Donald because Hillary is the Democratic candidate.

To follow on to my own post a bit:

The Democrat leadership is behind Clinton because that is how they intend to retain their own power.  Their power is derived from making the population dependent on them and government.

The general democrat population however, generally thinks they are doing the right thing and being nice.  In their naievity they think that giving people stuff will make them grateful and cause them to become productive.  Some of these people are beginning to see through Hillary.  But they still cling to their naive philosophy that human nature can be legislated and directed.

No problem... personal choice.  There will be a larger number of people voting for Hillary because she isn't the Donald.  And yes, welcome back!
