Well it's semi-official. The San Diego Yak, Nanchang and T-34 Mentor crew is seriously looking at a group flyout to OSH next year.
Quite an undertaking to cover 1500nm 150nm at a time.....

No wind we plan ~150-180nm on stock fuel - I will be installing bladders in mine before this trip that adds an hour giving me a theoretical 3 hrs to empty so I could plan out to 350-ish nm legs but 2 hrs in the seat is a long time (sitting on a parachute). I am doing it more to reduce range anxiety than to actually stretch the legs, plus we'll still have stock fuel birds so about 90 minutes at a time.
