What a surprise that MSN attempted to trip up a non-DNC selectee.
how easy would it be to trip up the corrupt CAB doormat?
for example, asking her about classified material "I don't recall"
or asking her about Benghazi "I don't recall" or "what difference does it make"
or any number of other things.
but noooooooo, the corrupt CAB doormat gets asked about how her weekend was.
I'm willing to bet that almost no one of the street would know what Aleppo was about.

Johnson needs to get an ear bud and have someone off stage give him the answers.
Works for Hillary.

Think how successful he would be (or anyone) if the media was in the tank for him.

Or even if they were just neutral. And honest.

I didn't know what Allepo was, took me two seconds to find it though and had the question been Syria rather then Allepo there wouldn't have been a hitch. I don't particularly like Johnson, but this is gotcha journalism at its worst and solidifies my opinion that journalists are pigshit and should not be moderating debates.

That's an insult to pigshit.

I had no idea what it was either.
Let's ask Trudeau what he thinks should be done about Oshkosh. It's almost as relevant.

I like to think I'm more up on things than the average bear and I had no idea either. Wish I had an ear bud with someone prompting me on answers for things like this.

It was such an odd way to present the line of questioning. Seriously, who refers to the crisis in Syria as just "Aleppo"? I have no doubt GJ was confused as to what "a leppo" was or why he should be doing anything about it. Once the douchebag clarified he was talking about Syria, Johnson finally had a chance to follow up with a legitimate answer. Trash journalism for sure.

I still don't know what Aleppo is. But I'm going with a new brand of dog food.

Trump would've handled it and the ensuing blood frenzy. I saw a clip of Johnson on the view with the Joy baher telling him that she knew what is was and that it was a deal breaker. Trump would have called her a liar, which she is, and told her she wouldn't know a deal breaker even it if it bit her on the ass.

I knew what Aleppo was and Johnson should have too. It has been in the news a lot lately.
But it was a tiny mistake that the media thought would help Hillary so they made a big deal out of it.

refugees have been in the news. But "Aleppo" "in the news a lot lately"? I don't think so Tim.

Well, maybe "a lot" is an overstatement, but it has been in the news. Until a few months ago, all I knew about Aleppo was the pepper. Maybe that is why the name stuck with me every time it was mentioned. If you never heard of it, it is only because you never heard of it.

::)
I'm struggling to find headlines with Aleppo (until MSN queried Gary Johnson).
I'm struggling to remember any other time people referred to refugees by the town name.
perhaps my google-fu is extremely weak.
