"In the year 5555
Your arms are hanging limp at your sides
Your legs got nothing to do
Some machine is doing that for you"

I remember when that song came out.  While I was young kid, I knew it was prophetic.

And they were off by a few thousand years.

That was the second "45" I bought as a kid; the first was "Sweet Caroline." Little known piece of YOLT trivia.

I think the first 45 I bought was Three Dog Night, "Mama told me not to come".

Now my .45's are all made by COLT.  :)

God made man.  Colonel Colt made them equal.

I'm not sure how I remember this.  Maybe because I played it thousands of times, but my first '45 was "You ain't nuthin but a hound dog" by Elvis Presley.   I first bought "Mama told me not to come" on a modern :) 8-track.

My first 45 was Chuck Berry "Johnny B Goode".  After that it was Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Elmore James.
