My wife pointed out the false nature of these claims. So let me ask you all:
Do you know a single woman in your life who wouldn't yell loud enough that the entire plane would hear, or at least the first class cabin would hear, if some lech tried to feel them up in a first class seat? My wife would do that, as well as jab him in the ribs hard enough to break one or two, and then demand a different seat.
Oh, and by the way, first class seats don't have arm rests that move up.

Stan: There are many women who would not speak up. We know this factually based on the number of women who fail to speak up in any number of abusive or uncomfortable scenarios (sexual or otherwise). So I don't think this is a good argument. Now the armrest thing...

We could have an 18 year old boy show up tommorrow and accuse Adam of sexual advances and sexual misconduct when the boy was 12. In this instance he is now guilty in most people's minds and Adam can produce whatever evidence he wants, but he will always be linked to a sex crime.
Going to court to try to clear his good name could cost $25,000 and up, way up. And then the stigma of the crime is attached. The allegations will always live in google searches, will always come up in job applications, etc.
Sexual misconduct allegations are toxic, hence why the left loves using them.

I believe there have been prior cases where it takes one victim to come forward before others will have the courage to also come forward. I suspect that many victims either feel like they were the only one or feel there is some "safety in numbers" (or both).
We know that scumbag lawyers like the corrupt doormat attack rape victims. Why would anyone not understand how some victims might be reluctant expose themselves to that kind of treatment?

I will grant your "factual" assertion in situations where people are in abusive relationships, etc. I will not buy it when someone is alleged to have been assaulted by a complete stranger in an airplane.
Stay with the facts of this allegation - would your significant other stay silent and get groped?
