I read that the other day. I thought it was from one of those "fake news sites".
Who knew you legislate to get cows to stop farting?

So which department gets to go out in the field and take the measurements? Are cattle barns going to be required to have methane gas detectors? Are the farmers going to be required to put mufflers on the cows?

The only sane response to this "crisis" is for Barack Obama to appoint a special Czar to oversee the removal of all cattle and dairy operations statewide. Then refuse to allow any meat to be trucked in that was raised in a non-flatulence regulated environment and write 400,000 new pages of regulations to guarantee that no Californian will ever be subject to eating naturally raised meat ever again.
Then he can give out a contract to Solyndra to provide fart free cows to the entire state for another $500 million, or so dollars.

I was thinking about this cow flatulence 'crisis' and realized that we have the answer to one of the great issues that will be plaguing mankind in 2017.
Everyone wonders what in the world Barack Obama will do for the country and the world at large after January 20th and it is here on a silver platter.
President Donald Trump can appoint Barack as cow fart Czar and empower him to travel the country seeking out individual cows that break wind, and making a comprehensive register of offending bovines, for the purpose of swift and terrible congressional action sometime in December of 2099.
It is a high office, carrying an enormous amount of responsibility and he will be at home among his own kind the entire time.
Cows and bulls are full of bullshit and so is Obama!
