Maybe I've been sleeping... but, geez, how many college football bowl games are there?

used to be stuff like the Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Orange Bowl, Peach Bowl

now we have

Gildan New Mexico Bowl
Las Vegas Bowl
Camelia Bow;
AutoNation Cure Bowl
R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl
Miami Beach Bowl
Boca Ration Bowl
San Diego Country Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl
Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
Bahamas Bowl (nice location - way better than the idiotic fake turf in Boise)
Armed Forces Bowl
Dollar Genernal Bowl
(plus 22 more)

cripes, even teams with 6-6 records are in bowl games.

Everyone gets a participation trophy!

There is only one.
Ga. Tech vs Kentucky in the "Taxslayer Bowl" (aka the Gator Bowl).  Which I will be attending on New Year's Eve.

Who the fuck cares.  Catered fucking kids that can play football treated like fucking heroes while the folks that excel in academics and will actually mean something in life get nothing.
