Title: Walleye
Post by: Becky (My pronouns are Assigned/By/God) on December 27, 2016, 07:01:05 PM
We need some fun threads. So my sister-in-law in Minnesota sent us some frozen walleye fillets. It is the state fish, apparently. I love walleye, but had never encountered the evil little line of bones sticking barely up from the center of the fillet. Still, it was delicious ... Sweet and flaky.

Plus it's just fun to say "walleye." "Walleye."  :)

Since I live in FL, I'm used to fairly fresh saltwater sea creatures. I love a good grouper sandwich. Also, did you know that flounder are born with an eye on each side of their heads, but by adulthood one eye has migrated to live in peace and non-judgemental harmony with the other eye on one side of the head? Thus proving that Progressive ideals are the natural way of things and that all of you are deplorables.  ;D

The science is quite settled on flounder eye migration.  The wandering eye travels hither and thither, willy nilly, if you will, in its liberal desperation to see what it wants to see instead of what really is before it, and the eye cannot rest until it reaches the optimal position for seeing one side of an issue only, thus proving that Conservative ideals will make a meal of progressive ideals, every time. :)

There's a reason it is called Flounder.
