I am not surprised. Mari doesn't want anything that is not supportive of the LEFT to be aired at POA. IMHO, she has basically taken over the Management Council function of policing the board. I can not for the life of me understand how people that enjoy, and work at GA can be Obama/Hillary/Left supporters. It is like when I see legal gun owners being Democrats. What are they thinking?

funny how all the posts with sanctimonious liberal BS didn't result in the thread being locked.

And so many of the regulars have left. PoA use to have good aviation discussions, now over half of the threads aren't even aviation related. And their are a few asshats that are compelled to comment on every thread in order to derail the topic, and they are left to run wild.
I deleted PoA from my browser as it's simply not worth reading any longer.

I think Tom D reported me because I said something not to nice to a guy named Ravioli in that thread. Jose was croaking off how Reagan screwed the pooch on company pensions, others were talking about liberals and other political stuff. I was talking about how paying taxes is not charity and Ravioli told me discussion of tax policy is political and not allowed. I asked Ravioli if he was f'n kidding me when Jose is talking about Reagan and told him "screw you". Tom D didn't like that an admonished me like 4 times. I changed the post and apologized to Ravioli, who didn't seem bothered by it at all and had made a joke, but I think Tom D is still pissed. Cranky old guys. ;D
There are still some good threads over there, and the dick/dildo threads are gone, which is a good thing, but it seems the thread closing happens only when liberal rantings are challenged, otherwise the liberal rants just seem to go on.

Once JoseCuervo or JimmyCooper show up and start posting they're Leftist crap the thread is doomed because others won't take that shit and end up responding to them and it's all downhill from there.

Did any of you expect it to actually not be the same heavy-handed and biased shit? Certainly no one is surprised that it continues oe even accelerates - that is as predictable as sunrise and sunset.
I was not willing to subject myself to any of that bullshit and have not returned since but now it is creeping in here even if only as currently lighthearted pointing and laughing - eventually real butthurt can spill over and ruin what we have here.
Don't need that anywhere in my life.
