Title: Fiat Chrysler to expand in U.S. and not in Mexico, will create 2,000 jobs

Fiat Chrysler said Sunday it would spend $1 billion on U.S. manufacturing, including modernizing plants in Michigan and Ohio, in a move that’s set to add 2,000 new jobs, Reuters reported.

According to the company’s plan, the plant in Warren, Michigan will be made capable of producing a pickup truck currently built in Mexico.

The Warren plant will make the new Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer large SUVs. A plant in Toledo, Ohio also will get new equipment to make a new Jeep pickup.

The move by Fiat Chrysler follows a similar recent announcement made by a competing auto brand.

Well another major manufacturer is expanding in the U.S. and not Mexico.  I wonder why?  Let the Dems (Progressives) worry about a few more dollars in the Minimum Wage.  We have BIGGER things to do.

The Democrats look at the economy as a Zero Sum Game where the pie slices need to be cut up bigger for THEM,and taken away from others, like the minimum wage, and entitlements.  Business people like Trump know that this is not the case.  The economy can grow, and the PIE GETS LARGER, therefore everyone's slice gets bigger without having to unfairly take from someone else.

We are already seeing the job growth, and the growth of the economy.  Manufacturing, and innovation is the underpinning of all other economic activity.

A way the democrats make a stink is when the pie gets bigger but not everyone's slice gets bigger or doesn't get bigger by the same amount (it's UNFAIR!  wah!).

Here's a thought experiment for folks:  if you are paid a fair wage for your job, why would you get ticked off in a co-worker gets paid 25% more than you (remember, you are paid a fair wage)?

The term "FAIR", and terms like "reasonable", and "common sense" have been bastardized by the left to mean extremes for whatever they want, be it wages (compensation), entitlements, or gun control.

What is a "living wage"?  Were entry level, non skilled, fast food jobs created to fully support a family, or were they created to fill the need of a business to run, and be solvent?  Did the market not set the wage, for the appropriate skill level?  Should we upset the equilibrium of the market, and destroy businesses and overall job creation for feel good politics?
