The Alt Left Radicals audience are the low information types. They have heard about Hitler but have never actually studied the man. Hence they rely on third, fourth, fifth, etc hand information which doesn't necessarily have to be true or contain any truth.
Their propaganda arm, the MSM capitalize on this.

The argument in his post isn't original with him. He does manage to actually gloss over the important fact that the Romans didn't actually assimilate the Goths as promised. The Goths were starving in "refugee camps" for months and fighting between Romans and Goths began when the Goth desire for survival made them raid the countryside for food. If the Romans had NOT agreed to the allow the Goths into the empire, the Hun pressure on the Goths would likely would have forced the Goths to fight their way into the Roman empire, resulting in essentially the same historical sequence. The Romans were likely screwed regardless by the advance of the Huns, whether from Goths or the Huns themselves.
Plus the situation then is not analogous to anything happening today - there are no large hordes of armed refugees. They are all un-armed. Oh - and the Romans had been accepting of some refugees as a matter of policy. Generally it worked well for them.

Apologists for everything liberal will ignore the warning signs that are rampant all over the country.
The democrats had a good run but like all good runs, they eventually peter out and this one is folding like any one of Obama's claims, or Bill Clinton's promises.
I see that one of the proud rioters at berkely, the other night was a university employee who had the stupidity to brag about injuring a conservative trying to attend the speech on his twitter page. What a pathetic bunch of ignorant pigs, rutting about in a barnyard, listening only to the voice of their master, George Soros.

In the United States, anyone who wishes to be armed can become armed, especially if they are part of a clandestine organization who wishes to inflict harm.

People who invoke Hitler to describe Trump are just as big of idiots as those who did it to describe Obama and should be reminded that Godwin's Law exists for a reason. Out of the millions of Hilter references, none of them have ever been right. That's not to say they won't be one day, but it won't happen with Trump, just like it didn't happen with Obama.

Good point - there was a set of refugees that managed to make it into the U.S. that were instrumental in creating atomic weapons right here on our soil!!! Those dangerously evil refugees had names like Einstein, Bethe, von Neumann, Szilard, Franck, Teller, Fermi, and Peierls.

Well, fast forward from the rocket-building era to 2017.
Was just reading today where illegal immigrants (obviously) have no health vetting, but LEGAL immigrants have to prove they are healthy AND show that they can provide their own health insurance.
An illegal immigrant committing a crime in a sanctuary city is not deported, but a LEGAL immigrant who commits a crime is not only deported, but is NEVER allowed back.
An illegal immigrant qualifies for out-of-state tuition if they go to college, but a LEGAL immigrant does not.
And so on.
