The three articles below Are lessons in history that have led us to why and where we are in in the USofA today. Some think the US is in the Second Civil War. Both being fought for the survival of the USofA. The difference...this one is as yet non-violent. For those too young to remember some of this stuff take heed. For the rest this kind of stuff needs to be remembered. All are very interesting, but looong reads.

Mussolini's quote is quite telling.
"Fascism has taken up an attitude of complete opposition to the doctrines of Liberalism, both in the political field and in the field of economics".
Modern liberalism has zero in common with classic liberalism of the sixties. It is a cancerous tumor of hatred, racism, anti-semitism, anti-science, anti-Americanism and an overwhelming hatred of everything that holds us together as a nation. The modern progressive is a sickening well of jealous rage against those who dare to achieve and a murderous rage against anyone that dare speak against whatever bullshit they are babbling at the time.

I'm not sure it's a civil war (yet), but it has the same root cause - one side trying to selfishly enforce their (great) ideas on the other. It was the cause of the Civil War in 1861. It happened in the 1960s with Civil Rights. And it's happening again now. I'm sure there are other examples spread through our history about it. It's the lesson every generation has to learn all over again.
Some people agree with the ideas. Some don't. There ought to be room for all. Prejudice, arrogance and ignorance have caused more strife in this country than pretty much anything else I can think of right now.
