If it weren't so fricken dangerous, what is going on, it would be funny or sad depending on whether it is stupidity or mental illness that is causing this.

Those must be faked.
No one is that stupid.

Sarah Silverman? Another "never was" trying to be relevant. Go to Hell.

I think a lot of that is her attempt at humor. I never thought she was funny. I remember her being on late night tv interview once and saying she grew up in a household where it was okay to routinely use the f bomb. So I figured that explained a lot. I don't think we'd know her name if she was a portly man.
Still, I think this was just her trying to be funny.

That would be one of the dumbest excuses (I'm not accusing you of being stupid) for completely inappropriate statements.

I think she knows she is not funny, and really has no talent in anything, which is why her go to thing is to try to shock people. Keeps her in the news and makes her think she is important.

The problem with explaining this type of sickening behavior away, is that it was exactly what the democrats did as Hitler stole power and started slaughtering people.
With the level of vitriol and ignorance coming out of the stupid people these days, I doubt most of them even know what they are saying. Which makes them truly useful idiots for the real fascists.

Oddly, I was taunted yesterday for my belief that most people are stupid. I still think it's true today though.

I was one that taunted you. But I never said you were wrong. ;)

Most people think they are the smartest people in the room, any room. Oddly, or perhaps not so oddly, I find that those who point out how smart they are, usually, not always, but usually not the smartest. Also, remember, that half of people are smarter than average, and the other half are not as smart as average, that's a lot of people.

Are you sure about that? :)

Nope, not smart enough to be sure. ;)

Half the people are smarter than the median, not the average (or mean).
Helpful example:
The average of the ordered sequence [1, 1, 2, 6] is 2.5 while the median is 1.5.
Half the numbers are less than 1.5 and half are more than 1.5.
But 75% of the numbers are less than the average (or mean.)
(When determining the median of a discrete set of data, if the number of elements is odd then the middle one of the sorted list is taken as the median value while with an even set the data the mean of the middle two elements of the sorted list is taken as the median.)

Lol, see what I mean?? So actually if you want to be more correct, then you have to account for the fact that you will have a percentage of the population right at the median value, whatever that may be, which means that less than half the population will be above the median and less than half the population will be below the median. Of course, since the median would never be able to be determined to a certainty, my statement is probably close enough for discussion purposes. ;)

Let's just settle this right now.
In America, 61,201,031 people who voted in the 2016 election are smart. 62,523,126 people who voted in that same election are incredibly stupid.
From this extremely large sample, and really, it's a YUGE sample, we can conclude smartness does seem to occur in half the people.
