Don't hold your breath that this goes anywhere, let alone gets any news coverage. It's more of a ploy to say "We did look into it......"

It is obvious the DOJ under Obama was just a political hit squad. Holder, and Lynch were a joke.
-
After Comey's testimony I would think an investigation into this is warranted. Comey himself said that it seemed like the former Attorney General was trying to align the Department of Justice with a political campaign. Everyone else knew it was bad from the start after the former Attorney General and former president Clinton met on the airplane, but Comey's testimony should be enough to look into this.
-
Will never happen. Just like Holder being found in contempt of congress, nothing happened. And Rice using unmasking for political purposes, nothing happened. And Louis Lerner, nothing.
-
Lynch should be disbarred as well as investigated and indicted.
Why Republicans fail to bring their balls to work when they get elected to congress is completely beyond me, but it seems to rarely fail.

As others have said, the establishment Republicans value their careers, and pursuit of leadership positions more than the ideals that get them elected. I find it harder, and harder to call myself a Republican any longer, although I'd never vote for a Democrat unless they had a wholesale change in their platform, but that ain't happening.

The simple truth is nobody will represent we common folks and the game is rigged.

Sounds a bit like the mid to late 1700's. We are dealing with royalty here. How can we change the game without doing what happened then?

That's a great question. It's obvious Mr Smith going to Washington isn't going to work. All of the entrenched politicians, D's and R's, are doing their damnedest to obstruct anything Trump tries to accomplish. Basically, Washington is saying, "Hey, American voting public, we see what you did there, but FU, you still don't get what you want."
I don't know, short of actual revolution, I don't see how things change.

Well, until things get to the point where people are really desperate, I doubt things will change peaceably. Just to be clear, I am NOT advocating violence, nor revolution to enact change. I think we push for term limits, and stop the career politician which I think is a huge part of the problem. I don't care if new representatives have to learn the ropes year after year. We have term limits in the Executive Branch at the state, and federal levels.

An Article V convention would help with that. Otherwise, don't expect Congress to enact term limits on themselves.
