I learned much of guitar technique from watching Glen and also Chet Atkins. Icon of the music industry, and always popular with the gals. All around great American.

He was a great talent, and a great guitarist.  He was a session musician in L.A. in the 60's, and played on a lot of big time records with the big names.  He also subbed for Brian Wilson, and toured with Beach Boys when Wilson was too drugged out to perform.  He will be missed.  He did a PBS special, I think back in 2006.  You can see it on Youtube.  He was EXCELLENT.  Wichita Lineman is one of my favorites.
