I do pity some of the people who are still kids in this program. They are going to a country they know nothing about, and will have a hard time adjusting there. I suppose their govt(Mexico, Guatemala, etc) should help them adjust - but they won't. I also found out that the average age of the DACA refugee is 25 years old. So, if they have been here since at least 16YO, that means NINE YEARS to apply for, or request, or figure out how to get your residency status sorted out. Nine years is a long time to wait to solve your alien status. Some of the DACA 'kids' are over 30. Of course, there are some that are still in their teens as well.
Hope they make their own country great.

It will play out like the make believe, Syrian refugee women and children, 'crisis.'
The Syrian refugee children were almost solely 18-30 year old men, who ABANDONED their women and children to sneak into Europe and the USA.
The dreamers will be portrayed as ten year old, big eyed, helpless vagabonds.

Hillary: Send them back.

Lots of options out there for this. Here's one, give them head of the line status for legal immigration and give them a path in the front door. But there will be requirements that have to be met - a high school diploma, proof of work and an interview to establish proof of english proficiency. After all, if they aren't educated and they can't speak English then coming here would be a huge burden on them while going home would not.
In general, I think that's a great plan for all illegal aliens. The ones who are being part of the American Dream should use the slots for immigration. Those who are scheming rather than dreaming should go away - take their fingerprints and if they show up in the US again, then arrest them and put them in jail.
In general - I'd like to see every criminal database inquiry include a query for citizenship or legal status. Rebellious local officials who want to reject federal law shouldn't have that power.

This could be a workable compromise with one - major - caveat. You MUST return to your host country, and apply from there. NO ONE is allowed to stay in the US after coming here illegally, and no one will be rewarded for their parents breaking out immigration laws. Sorry. This way, any of the undesirables(and there are many in the DACA program) will not gain entry back in.
