Title: Tapatalk changes
Post by: nddons on October 06, 2017, 10:52:35 AM
Pilot Spin folks, be advised that Tapatalk changed their interface a little such that some views combine posts from different forums.

I saw a post on the bump stock issue, and someone said "watch this post get closed by the MC in 3.2.1."

I was about to say "hey new guy, Pilot Spin is where liberty reins; we have no MC", but then realized I didn't recognize anybody there. Later someone said something to the effect that "this shouldn't be closed, there's no politics involved" or some other idiocy. It turns out this was a Pilots of America thread.

This is the first time I've been on POA ever since PS was formed, but holy cow, it looks like they are going almost where the AOPA forum has gone.

It was also immensely boring. All the cool kids came to PS I guess.

PoA has gone to full retard.   If you are interested in debates on what the better truck is, which boat to buy, where to buy home/auto insurance, reading about someone who had a crappy day at his IT job, HAM radios, where to buy eyeglasses or post after post of adolescents typing  "boobs!" or constant penis remarks, the PoA maybe for you.

Of course then you have to read one fucking idiot who insist on commenting in every thread with long winded winding 500+ word diatribes that ramble on about nothing.

 Waste of time.

That certainly sums it up.

Dick references got to be pretty stupid but you pretty much said it all.

Where are all these alleged dick references?  I seem to be missing them although I've seen the boob ones.

There have been a couple of threads recently where some talk of politics (or religion) has been "tolerated" by the mods as long as everyone remains civil blah blah blah.  But I doubt it's a harbinger of more liberal policies ahead. No pun intended.
